Britney Still Has It!

Britney Spears can still dance the way she did before the only reason that I can think of why others would critisize her now is since she does not use as much attitude in her facial expressions as before. If you see this video http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=3NW4zMMR3oUyou can clearly see how she dances even more than before. Her choreo from before was sometimes slow and simple but she made up for it with her attitude in her expressions which made the whole dance 3x better. I just don't think others should be complaining about her dancing now when she still has it. ALSO take note that before each and every one of her shows was not recorded by fans like they are today. We would only see the ones that were provided through DVD or were shown on TV. Im sure even back then she had shows which weren't her best. Britney still is the amazing dancer she's always been!

I agree with you. She can still dance and she has proved it, but yeah the attitude went down, but she still looks great

I've said it before, too. Everything, well not everything, but most of the final result is in her facial expressions. It will never feel complete even if she nails all the dance moves, her face always reflects that she's just counting the steps or remembering the next move, but it doesn't feel like she's actually dancing and feeling the song.

she's not as precise, she's not as on sync, she's doesn't have as much energy and charisma she used to. She doesn't execute the moves as well as she used to. I think saying she does is like an insult to her prime days, it's not just the facial expressions. I think there are certain moments in POM and FF where she is like her old self tho.

I'm sorry but i have to disagree. Have you watched her old performances ?

She still can dance of course, yes (when she wants to) , but compared to her prime days, it's not only the attitude that is missing. She lacks of energy in her moves, fluidity, rhythm and sharpness most of the time, and even when she's at her -actual- best it's not at the same level than her prime days imo.

That being said, yes she's still remains a good dancer compared to other basic popstar.

Yes Britney still can dance. I know it is there. However, I have said it all along there is a problem with the Choreography. Also, in the years past Britney had more production behind her which I think is paramount for a Vegas Show. Britney has always been known for putting on great Shows while Touring so now that she is set up in Vegas people expected a lot more from the Show, Production wise. When I went I had a great time so it is still a Great Britney Show. I just expected more Vegas flare to it but like Britney said she didn't want it like that.

It is MUCH more than facial expression. Her movements are stiff, choreography is poor, lack of energy and does not out dance her dancers like she used to. You can tell she is thinking about her moves, whereas before it seemed very effortless. I know she can retain choreography very well, but she does not execute it nearly the same way than she did so much as 7+ years ago.

Ok but heres the thing. Back then we didn't watch every single show Britney put on like we did with FFT and POM. We only saw the shows that were put together by her team or the producers. We're judging Britney so hard on her performances because were watching her every step, every move, everyday she performs unlike before. Yea I agree Britney isn't 19 anymore but that doesnt mean she didnt have bad days before. Fans recording artists has become so popular today something thats wasnt as common before.I truly believe that is the reason behind seeing their every flaw now adays as oppose to before.

Well, I just don't think she dances as good as she did in her prime, but she still is an amazing dancer! I mean, when she's into the show, Piece of Me is the best pop show that's been out there for a while. But I agree with you, the main problem is her attitude. Even when she's energetic, I feel like she lacks a bit of fierceness most of the time, but I still see the true performer in her many times during Piece of Me and I can tell that it's still inside of her, she just needs to be motivated enough to perform like we know she can!

I agree with you and mostly with every comment in here...

However, there is one other thing. Britney nowadays is mostly performing her old songs and her concerts are greatest hits whereas in the past she was performing new songs every era. Think of how many times she has performed slave for example.

I would have hated that song if i had listened to it 359 times. Imagine performing it...That's why she is so bored.

She should forget her old songs for a while and focus on the new material. She would enjoy it more and we would have fresh and great performances on top!!!

I'm happy with Britney dancing tbh, I have nothing to complain about. These Piece Of Me videos slay me all the time. I think people will be really impressed when the Piece Of Me DVD come out

Her dancing isn't the same as it was. However she is trying and that's all I ask for. Is to have fun & and put on a great show. I am happy with everything Britney does

Each era Britney gets better and closer to her "prime days" I think fans tend to forget what actually happened to her, or downplay it a lot. She went through something traumatic and it's going to take her time to get back, everyday is another step towards the right direction though
