i came across this video

now before yall go against me, let me point what i notice about this video

the girl KINDA sings similar to how britney sings sometimes. where britney sometimes sings nasally, you know im talking about mona lisa demo kinda nasally.

anyways, it had me thinking, is this a certain singing style, or just how naturally some people sing?

i did read somewhere that britney was trained to sing a certain way, but is that true??

I think it's just natural and usually happens with people who haven't had professional singing lessons and can't sing that well hence the term, "singing through your nose".

With Britney it became her signature thing and the pitching makes her sound even more nasally.

I'm gonna be honest , I think Britney was trained to have that pop girly sound , because if u look at videos on star search,her singing in church, & her friends wedding she actually has a really strong vocal range .. I think they trained her voice because that bubble gum pop voice was a thing back then but now it's not . So i think she's little by little trying to get back into her regular voice .. If u notice, her vocals on Britney Jean sound stronger now (kind of pitchy but stronger )
