Britney made a new body standard back in 2000s. After the 90s decade which at that point the main Body Standart was to have big as boobs and not an booty necessary.

When the 2000s came Britney step in the spotlight with her new fit body. Her iconic performance in the 2000 vmas got everyone talk about the body. Then the Slave 4 U video came out.

Britney somehow showed as that is okay to have a little booty and not big boobs. Also it's okay to be thin but in a fit way.

That's actually pretty nice to know.

I disagree a little bit. I think she was a bad influence regarding her body because her standard was UNREACHABLE...

She hardly had any cellulite, her abs were insane and her boobs had the ideal size and shape. Also her face was totally angelic without any flaws. In other words, she promoted perfection.

I think nowadays she is a better influence regarding her body. She has some curves, her body is still perfect but looks more earthly and she achieved that after 2 births and hard work. This is a better role model!!!

I think not. Pamela anderson in the 90s was unreachable.

You can actually reach the Britney level with hard workout. :xf1:

Since when was her booty little? :frenchy: It's always been rather shapely.

But I always saw her body as reachable as well as unreachable. Insane abs and muscle tone aside, the fact that she has a nice, normal butt and normal breasts is relatable.

I agree with you. Now she's much more inspirational because what she promotes is that you don't need to be perfect to be beautiful. You can go out with messy hair and sweatpants and still feel happy and comfortable on your skin :)

well i didn't meant little booty. The fact that butts wasn't an ''in'' before the 00s she made it okay for girls to have butts.

And that's why today (2010s) the butt is the main focus in the body. :zoomzoom:

Maybebut i think it was impossible to maintain that sort of body without some crazy effort as well. It was even impossible for Brit to maintain it as we all know. In order to get and keep that kind of body she was doing 1000 sit ups a day PLUS her usual workout routine PLUS dancing for her performances. For the average person thats just beyond crazy. For girls who were growing up with that body image, they weren't told that that's what Britney had to do to get her body so when they wouldn't get the same results from their usual workouts (even if they worked out hard) they would just feel bad about themselves. So I get what dragneel is saying :lips1:

Yeah it's true. THat's why I think Britney is promoting a much healthier body standard now. Her body is REAL (unlike kim K's fake booty just sayin :pieceofwhat: ) and she shows that even though she's not stick skinny she can still look great and be healthy and fit to a realistic standard. :)
