Giorgio Moroder revealed to officalcharts.com that the song Britney had recorded for him is not done yet. He said:

“With Britney, I still have to work with her," he told Official Charts. We started with the main part [of the song] but I’ve added a bridge to it, so as soon as she’s free we have to finish that.

"She’s difficult to get in contact with! One thing I noticed is that the singers themselves are so involved these days. One of the problems with working with Britney is that now she’s so busy - for example she's in Vegas - and she has contracts that say she can’t do certain things. She cannot do a video because of I don’t know exactly what. It’s different from the way I used to work."

Asked how the collaboration came about, he explained: “I spoke to her on the phone. She called me and told me she wanted to do the song – it was her idea and she wanted to do it together in the studio, but unfortunately I was in Europe.

"I heard the track and I only changed a little bit – she did a good job with it actually. I hope she finds the time to do the little bridge – it’s just eight bars. I’m going to meet her soon and tell her!"

I'm such a masochist , but I'm back to this thread. It's just, I can't, I really got depressed after reading this.

It's like the worst news I've received in a very long time. Since many years ago I moved on with the fact that she won't perform live again on any TV show or awards show and stuff. It sucks, but it's like, fine. But what is the excuse for not making videoclips? It's like, she's retired or something? What kind of singer won't release music videoclips, or accept that kind of condition on a contract? For how long it will be like this? I mean, if the lead single happens to drop anytime this year, we won't get a videoclip either? Then what's the purpose of releasing more albums, and singles, if they know they won't sell, because there won't be live performances, and there won't be music videos?

I hope I'm being paranoid. My only hope, is that maybe the interview occurred a couple of months ago, and maybe Giorgio meant that she couldn't shot a videoclip at a time, or that she couldn't travel to Europe or something. But it sounded like he wanted a videoclip, and that it won't happen even if the song is finished. It's really, really, really sad Like, you can't imagine how depressed I am right now

Sorry, I'm very dramatic, but you know, the music videos is what I like the most about Britney's career.

It's a mess, tbh, music videos are her strengths since she can't already perform outside of PH, why eliminate the only form of promo she can utilize? I don't get her team sometimes... I'm still hyped for this collab and if it's as good as the insiders say, Larry better rethink and capitalize.
