"you know can't nobody get down like us!" that part ruins it :displeased:

I like the breakdown tho

I still listen to the song, but it could have been better

I love it :bomt: I agree with Nini, it could've been a little more powerful but it's okay :)

I really love the song, but I was expecting more production for the videoclip. I mean she looks great, but I hate they put those scenes from the actual movie. I was expecting something like, Britney actually going to the Smurfs world, and walking through the woods or something, not just watching them dance.

all music videos for soundtrack singles contain scenes from the movie to promote. Even "I'm not a girl, not yet a woman" did

Not necessarily. (You Drive Me) Crazy or Boys didn't have scenes from the movie, and I'm sure many other soundtrack videos as well, like Lady Marmalade. And even Not a Girl had a version without the movie scenes.

I mean, I'm not against the Smurfs theme, that was inevitable. And I know they weren't going to spend millions in that video, but the movie scenes and that bad special effect when Britney is "watching them dance", it just makes the video looks very cheap. If they were going to use the green or blue screen, at least they should've made something more professional, a little bit of story after she's swallowed by the screen at the movie theater. Like the smurfs introducing her to their world, and having mushrooms and flowers and the whole forest, and the houses and stuff. :yaknow:

My point was, with a more remarkable video, I think the song wouldn't be as forgotten as it is today, because the song itself was very good, but there's some people, and especially Britney's team these days, that underestimate the importance of a good music video :(

A majority of my friends (the few I have) / family know of Ooh La La's existence.

You wanna know what's forgotten?

not even 70% of thi fanbase knows that song exists in the first place :gloria: which is good tbh, its shit lol

I love this song and reviews for it were really positive. It's a cute song and after hearing the more dirtier original version, Britney's vocals worked much better in comparison.

We are the girls of Rock 'n' Roll! Wore this tape out as a kid. Don't get me started on "My Mother"... :crying1:
