Maybe The Moroder Situation Should Make Us Realize Something About Will.i.am.

It was most likely not his fault. :zoomzoom:

How are you going to come up with a decent song if the artist isn't even going to be present when you want to improve on it?

The deterioration of Britney's music most likely has to do with her and/or team's work ethic now. :zoomzoom:

We can use will.i.am as the fall guy for BJ all we want, but if the new album is just as bad, it'll confirm just where the problem really lies. :scooterney:

Will could've made improvements, but Britney wasn't even in the studio long enough. How was he going to work around it if he only had usable vocals from her for half of the song? :Scooterney:

I usually agree with you, but not with this. It's not the same situation since it's not her own song but the song of someone else so she can't be available anytime for Moroder, her own work comes before anything else. He decided to add a bridge after she recorded so it's not really her fault, plus when she wanted to record with him he was the one not available because he was in Europe..

This is exactly correct!!!

Look at how Giorgio gushed about the other artists in the interview, and then how he talked about Britney.

What I'm saying is the "relatively fast" comments seem common with people she's worked with recently. They try to spin it in a good way, but judging from the quality of the songs from BJ (not to mention Myah) and this bridge that may never happen now, it may not be the best thing.

You're certainly not going to get the best off a song when the artist just goes in one day to record it. The producer will of course need time to listen to it over and over again and see what else can be done.

Anyways, this is all speculation, but it's based off the vibe I'm getting from people she's been working with recently.

Well, the song isn't even finished, what would you want him to talk about ? I'm sure he didn't even want to talk about her in the first place, it's not a coincidence if Britney didn't mention it either. It's not finished. The guy won't talk about it for hours and like it was wonderful while it's not even finished and who knows if it will really end up on his album if they have no time to finish it, he could reject it.

And because she works fast doesn't mean it's badly done or anything. I don't know why but when Britney comes to a studio i imagine her just being professional, in a way that she's there to record, not to have fun, talk or something. Hence why she may record "relatively fast". Then, we don't know what happened during BJ, i believe Britney didn't have a lot of time, everything was rushed because of Vegas, but producers didn't do their best work either, the vocal production isn't great, and we heard some Britney parts on Passenger that didn't even end up on the album version while imo it was great and better,.. who knows if they replaced her voice on other songs too while she really recorded it and it was better.

Anyway, this collab is not the same situation, we can't associate BJ with this collab.

She recorded Toxic. Her voice was just not the main vocals on the bridge/chorus on the final version, but she recorded the whole song.

Ouch... so they just replaced her voice?

That's exactly what will said about working with Britney! She's supposedly the type of artists that has a very high proffesional ethic and when she comes to studio, she's really there to "work" and have something actually done at the end of the day. He said he was not really used of that since most of the people come to studio and half of the time they're chitchatting and eating chips or sth.

And also he said the similar about her way of filming music videos. He said that she arrived on the set of S&S before anyone else and when he came she was full on ready and had her outfit on and everything. So I think what you said about her way of working is true. :)

She's a mom now so she's gotta work fast in the studio.....

But seriously, I'm not entirely sure of what to make of the situation and at this point I couldn't care less. Tbh, I'm expecting to be unimpressed with any upcoming music so then if it's better than what I expected, I can feel like an actual fan again. :bitchplz:

I'll leave it in Godney's hands and assume she has her stuff together. :ummlol:

Not really, they let her voice, she's just mixed with the demo singer on the chorus, it's a little hard to differentiate it, but you can hear it better here :

You can watch everything or go directly at 8:00 they played both song in the same time, Britney version on left speaker, demo version on right speaker. Put some headphones and listen closely you can hear Britney's voice on the bridge/chorus.

She wasn't giving a fuck about anything in 2007 and released the masterpiece Blackout is :no1curr:

not true. we all know how involved and professional she was during the recording process for that CD.

"blackout" is her only album that lists BRITNEY as the executive producer.

however, i don't agree with this thread because, yes, BJ could've been better (without will), but it's still ok.

Oh that's cool, i don't remember that , do you know where he said it ??

So yeah, in this case i believe that's what Moroder meant when he said she recorded it fast.

This is a good theory and it has led me to wonder if her team is behind it. With the lack of real promotion for Britney Jean and a lack of singles on top of the comment Moroder made about the music video maybe her team is trying to make people NOT want to work with he to possibly force her into retiring. I'm just speculating, but if that is what they are trying to do I can almost guarantee it'll fail cause I think people will always want to work with Britney.

I mean.. First, it's true a part of Blackout was recorded in 2006. But then she wasn't fully into the releasing an album thing. She didn't give a fucking interview.

I understand she was going through a bad time, but she wasn't as envolved as before or even years later, she did more promo for Circus, Femme Fatale and Britney Jean and still delivered a good album.

If her team wanted her to retire they wouldn't have made her sign to recod another 4 albums

I have three assumptions when it comes to Britney Jean.

1. She really did want for an album to be personal, even with will.i.am involved, but they didnt let her because her team has a habbit of killing her ideas. So since they ruined it all over again because according to them it wouldn't sell well she decided to boycot it and not actually do her best or promote it properly.

2. She didn't want to record an album at all. She wanted to rest for a year or two and then release something but she was made on it because her team and dad are money thirsty whores. So since she was made on it she halfassed it out of rebellion.

3. It was a last album under the contract which didn't allow her for much creativity so she just wanted to get over with it asap and make a new contract where she could be the main person who has the last word :tbh:

I think it's one of those three :) Most probably 1st or 3rd :)
