I've been saying this shit since it leaked and barely anyone has noticed.

I don't care how it's spelled on Michelle's tumblr. Mistakes happen.

For example, Hold On Tite.

For those who want to put up a fucking argument, I sent Michelle herself an ask on Tumblr about the spelling of the title. I'm just waiting for a reply.

If you're going to stan for Britney, at least have the fucking decency to spell her song titles correctly.

"you are my conscience, forsake you I won't."

"you are my conscious, forsake you I won't." :britney-arrow: that makes no sense :zoomzoom:

I know she says concience in the song, but concious still works as a title so it might not actually be a mistake.

:thatsweird: thats a weird logic.

it is a mistake. it may work for A song but not for THIS song.. it doesn't fit with what she's singing about :yakno:

You said it better than I could have.

It's like saying Big Fat Bass is about a fish instead of musical bass.

Then you come up with a better exmaple.

Don't judge what you can't do better thEn.

*fixed

at least i can spell.

the thing is, (to be) conscious and conscience (noun) are related, whereas the bass (fish) simply doesn't have anything in common with "the big fat bass", other than the spelling.

lol sweetheart are you REALLY judging my spelling

are you 15.

Those terms mean two entirely different things. See the below quoted post.

The incorrect title irks me to no end. :orangu:

I can't at someone trying to justify the word usage fuck-up. :gloria:

I did.

In fact, I googled both words and provided the definitions for both.

:smokeney:

Refer to the first post "sweetheart".

:aww1:

The terms aren't related.

cause you're obviously too retarded to google:

What’s the difference between conscience and conscious? They stem from the same Latin root, but their usage is distinct. Writers occasionally confuse the two words, but if you remain conscious, you’ll likely be able to say with a clear conscience that you know the difference.

Conscience and conscious both come from the Latin word conscius; the word elements mean “with†and “to know.†(Yes, the -science in conscience means the same thing as science itself.)

You literally just proved my point.

:trollney:

Concious. The state of being awake. Opposite: Unconcious.

Conscience. Jimminy Cricket.

and you're still saying those 2 words aren't related? :trollney: ok nm.
