The more we hear about this song that Britney (almost) finished recording with Giorgio Moroder the more we want to hear it!! Giorgio Moroder reviled that Britney Spears recored a late '80s song. Here is what he said:

Back in the present day, Moroder made a point of complimenting Britney Spears’s nearly unadorned vocals on her still-unfinished contribution, a cover of a quirky, late-’80s novelty hit that Spears herself suggested. (Sorry, but Moroder asked that we not reveal the name of the song… yet.) “I listened a lot to her latest songs, which were all a little… the voice was a little mechanical — so many effects,” he says. “While on this one, she’s basically without… a little delay, but no effects, no nothing. So it sounds really natural.”

Moroder plans to join Britney in the studio soon to finish the song!

Some Giorgio 80's Hits Songs Are:

Together in Electric Dreams - From Electric Dreams film

The NeverEnding Story

Danger Zone - From Top Gun

Take My Breath Away - From Top Gun film

Meet Me Half Way - From Over The Top film

Body Next to Body

Flashdance....What a Feelin - From Flashdance film

Cat People (Putting Out Fire) - From Cat People film

What song do you guys think it might be????? Discuss Britney Army!

I don't think it's a cover of a Moroder song though, just an 80s song. But I could be wrong..

"While on this one, she’s basically without… a little delay" i don't understand this part... someone please explain it to me.. :pieceofwhat:

If you ever listen to an acapella mix of a song you can usually hear that the vocals will start but then like a millisecond later the voice will start on top of itself. It's like doubled or something. Anyway it adds texture and richness to the vocals, otherwise it would be flat sounding. That's my best explanation but I'm not a music major or a vocal production wiz.

Yeah I agree. It doesn't say that it's a cover of his song. I'm not sure if he would want to do the same song twice :uhno:

I'd love it to be 'Hanging tough' by new kids on the block

As she suggested it though 'Straight up' by Paula Abdul I reckon :lips1:

It could be straight up (I love that song BTW) but that song has a bridge. Whatever song it is it doesn't have much of a bridge which is why he added one, at least that's what I gathered from his other interview.
