As some of you know, and for those who don't, I run the official swedish Britney Spears fanpage on facebook togheter with Sony Music. Today I got a comfirmation on what we all where asking... The lead single is NOT on it's way in a near future. Sadly, they told me that they wont release it for another 2-4 months if not even later. :idc1:

She IS working on a new album, but that wont drop until the summer at it's earliest. :displeased:

Sony will know from her team when new music is on it's way, but no word yet. :oshit:

The picture from the studio of Britney recording is from when she was doing her song for that disco dude's album. (forgot his name, Giorgio?) :pieceofwhat:

Sorry to bring you this bad news, but you know I love you and just want you to know what I know :crying1:

Somebody finally said the truth! It's painful truth but truth, thank you :toxicwink:

Just don't want everyone to walk around and wait for something that's not happening...!

Early 2015, Iggy said :4music: :4music: :4music: :4music: :4music: :4music: :zoomzoom: :zoomzoom:

Well, Kyle said like 2 weeks ago, the date for the single wasn't set in stone but they were talking about 8-10weeks. (which means march)

And 5days ago he said that timing for some things has been shifted but not by much because some rappers opened their mouth before they should have. -Tho I don't know if by that he means it has been delayed again, or he's just explaining the situation but it's still 8-10weeks-

(tbh i'm starting to be tired of Britney's team and their stupid secrecies, that's not how it works now, damn, they need HYPE)

Anyway, if anyone believed it would have been out in january or early february, you're a little delusional.

It will be out in march/april at the earliest which is still considered as beginning of the year.

And obviously album won't be out before summer :orangu:

And btw, he also said that Moroder collab was nothing disco influenced. :soconfused:

Well, it sounds kinda bad since Iggy "confirmed" an early-year release but that makes sense because Britney has never released an album that has been worked on for less than a year, so I guess we'll just have to wait and that article that Perez, or whosoever, posted that Iggy was mad might actually be true. :orangu: Anyway, Giorgio's song is coming soon, so have some patience. On the other hand, the album MIGHT flop it terms of sales because a LOT of artists are going to release their new albums by mid 2015 and Brit will have a serious competition(e.g. Adele). :dontlike: Also, it makes sense to be released in the summer because Brit has a break from May until August which is more than enough to re-make POM, do some promotion and release a single. Ain't getting my hopes up, though. :uhno:

Well, I wasn't expecting the album before summer tbh. And for the Iggy collab, I thought it was going to be around March or April, then maybe a second single by June or something, and the album a month or two after that. But with this I see we'll have to wait even longer. That's why all this time I've been more excited about the Giorgio Moroder, because single or not, the album has to drop by Spring and it will have Britney's song. (Of course I wish it was released as a single, with videoclip and everything, but that would be so good to be true).

For those who were expecting the Iggy song in January/February, well, she never said such a thing. First of all, "beginning of the year" could be the first month, yeah, but it can be the first quarter of the year too, or the first half, or the first 11 months :lolll: And she said "hopefully" so nothing was for sure. I don't think she was lying or something, maybe that's what Britney's team told her, like "oh... yeaaaah, yeah sure, the song will drop at the beginning of the year, we'll notify you" and maybe the song will end up being just a bonus track in Japan or some other exclusive version. :xf13:

And that's it! Naked truth, we don't need people still trusting in new music in march, february or something.

Oh well, somebody was sleepy when writing the comment :moorangu: But as an argument I'd say that Oops was rushed because she got a huge success with BOMT. The same goes for Britney. As for Circus, they rushed it because of the breakdown she had in 2007 and the lack of sales of Blackout, despite its quality. So, they took advantage of her personal life obstacles and earned money from them. I MEAN, she didn't have a say and she was completely controlled by her label, they saw that there was a potential in her and pushed her to the limits, which led to being exhausted and tired of being an artist, that's why she kept saying that she wanted a normal life. Now it seems that she finally has a normal life and her word is a thing when it comes to albums. BJ says hi, though :orangu: At least, that's my opinion, of course. :)
