Not that word in particular, but the concept of the word is something I do see in a number of fans. And your comment kind of insinuated that there are "many fans" who fit into the category for "Britarded". Tell me: who would be offended by a word they don't think applies to them or one that--to them--has no legitimate meaning? .....Someone who actually sees themselves as a "Britard"?

The truth is that a bunch of you have been referring to numerous people (more than the bunch of you) with this word. So, you are the ones that believe that there are "Britney retards". I have never used this word in my life to describe anyone. I just used to it when I come across threads like this and members like the bunch of you. By the bunch of you, I'm refering to members that log in for the sole following reasons:

  • Fight online (because face-to-face you wouldn't say a word)
  • Insult Britney (and disguise it as criticism when you are no different than Perez)
  • Bullying other members (hence the word Britard)

Actually, your life is pathetic and miserable considering that this is what you do 24/7.

Someone might not be personally offended, but referring to other members as a "britard" is rude. It means you think their judgement is impaired because it's Britney and they over-worship their idol for everything she does. Also calling someone a britard is a condescending way of saying your opinion is better, and simply just making fun of someone :idc:

Everyone has a different opinion, and I barely see anyone here think everything Britney does nowadays is spectacular. I think some members here are too sensitive but that's people in general-- we all have to respect one another to get along in this world you know?

What the OP said was just unnecessary, it's not funny to get under people's skin just for fun even if you think they're getting worked up over nothing. He's referring to members without specifying their names which might cause a majority of people to get slightly offended. Once again making fun of somebody.

I'm sorry it's just immature to call someone that because of their opinion, and pretty arrogant actually

I fail to see how worship over flawless performances from 10 years ago turned into an essay about cyber bullying. Even more embarrassing when said post on cyberbullying ends with you telling someone "she must live a sad, pathetic life". :orangu: She didn't even attack you.

I agree the Top of the Pops performance is underrated.

You must be referring to @@britneystanstan, whose threads you should begin to avoid from this point on.

And Perez wished death on Britney. "Negative" fans just wish she'd do her job....better.

I don't agree with the use of the word either. But we can all agree that the OP gives no fucks. So no one should stress over it at this point.
