Autumn Goodbye Posted February 12, 2015 #1 Report Posted February 12, 2015 Britney is one of the most awarded singers in the world, unfortunately the grammy is not able to recognize that all other awards recognized the talent that Britney has, its importance and influence in pop music since the beginning of her career, she is more than a pop icon, she changed for the better pop music, she was and is a source of inspiration for many artists today. The grammy does not use the public vote, (which I think is wrong) all awards should be decided by vote of the people who go to shows and people who buy CDs, people who admire and are happy with the work of the singer, the recognition of the people is what makes a great artist. here's a list of awards that prove that Britney is one of the best pop stars of today. American Music Awards 1 Billboard Music Awards 8 Echo 7 Emmy Awards 3 Grammy Awards 1 Hit Music Awards 4 International Dance Music Awards 2 Juno Awards 1 MTV Asia Awards 1 MTV Australia Awards 1 MTV Europe Music Awards 9 MTV Video Music Awards 6 MTV Video Music Brasil 1 MuchMusic Video Awards 1 Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards 5 NRJ Music Awards 3 People's Choice Awards 2 Teen Choice Awards 23 TRL Awards 2 World Music Awards 4 It is the youngest celebrity, age 21, earning a star on the Walk of Fame today and was also for 10 consecutive years the most popular celebrity on the Internet according to the search engines Google and Yahoo! and the Guinness World Records and also the most wanted person in the Internet since its inception. This. That's what the People's Choice Awards / Teen Choice Awards / Kids Choice Awards are for. The Grammys are the music equivalent of the Oscars as the Recording Academy (& The Academy of Motion Pictures for Oscars). It is prestigious because it is voted by specific groups that are carefully selected by members. The members strictly vote in a category that pertains to their expertise (ex; a country music expert/musician would probably not be eligible to vote in the rap category unless they have shown great prestige and knowledge in that category) I don't know the entire process - but I know everyone in the academy gets to vote in the General Fields (record of the year, album of the year, etc.) Also, all albums and music submitted for consideration go through screenings to meet certain qualifications (technical) before being passed into the nomination process. It's all very intricate and complicated, but that is why Grammys are held to a much higher regard than a fan-voted award show. It might not always seem fair, and seem a bit biased, but that kind of stuff is always inevitable no matter what.

I do not think they are that important and prestigious,the grammy is full of injustices is a biased show,just do not see Who does not want and I still think that the public should vote,to avoid this type of inappropriate behavior.not only with britney also with other singers 1
