What Do People Mean When They Say Britney Has Dead Eyes

it seems to be an insult allot of celebrities and non fans revert to when they want to insult Britney.but for the life me i can't understand what they mean cos i never seen a photo or video of britney where she has dead eyes. i just end up thinking what the hell are all these people talking about dead eyes what is that when it's at home. like are people meant to have eyes jumping out of their sockets with expression. i remember as a child one of my friends mother had eyes that like blinked i swear 60 times in a minute.do they mean she doesn't blink. post a picture of where Britney is displaying dead eyes.

Well they say windows are the eyes to the soul, and it's true because you can tell a lot from them. There are some great actors who can really express their emotions just through the eyes. Sometimes Britney can get a vacant look, like she's tired, sad or bored. I guess that is what they mean by "dead eyes". She looked that way a lot during the FF era. But tbh I think it was partly due to horrible makeup and her droopy eyelids which I believe she had lifted...

Here's what I would call "dead eyes". They look vacant and lifeless.

Usually, it means that the expressions they make don't ever reach their eyes. Like every smile is forced, only done bc that person feels like they have to smile. It can actually look like someone has no life or passion in their eyes. Or maybe the person looks lost or unaware of what is going in around them. Or maybe they look like they don't give a shit.

Britney has fit all of these descriptions multiple times during a public event. Even on stage.

It does not mean someone is ugly.

U see the difference in the candids .. Just look at her eyes

I know what they mean. She doesn't have much in regards to ranges of facial expressions...at least in what we see (idk what she's like at home) she isn't very animated - things seem forced. this has nothing to do with age, I think people have a hard time connecting with her these days (just naturally) because they don't understand her emotions because she doesn't really portray them. She can smile and laugh but it never shows through with her eyes.

But also, I think her eyes are much more hollowed than even a few years ago from stress/smoking/genetics idk. But I think even without that her eyes would still have kind of the vacant / checked out look. Just like she's going through the motions.

Hard to explain. I don't think people are trying to be mean, I just don't think they connect with her like they may with other Stars around her age because they don't really know what to connect with her on.

Most of the times people say she has "dead eyes" I don't really see it (example: when she went on Jimmy Kimmel to promote Intimate). The only time people don't say that about her is when she smiles, so I guess it's just her "normal" facial expression. I think it's her way of protecting herself, as she said in For The Record, "it's better not to feel anything".

In 2007 she had more dark eyes than dead.. In 2008 it was due to medication, I still remember the first time in 2008 we saw her eyes aprkle, it was in some black dress to some fancy party she went, and she looked so great.

Dead eyes is what people say to describe peoples lack of emotions in eyes and face and mostly loss of that certain "glow" or "sparkle" in the pupils. Britney used to have that but she came to lose it. It is mostly because of the medication which brings up this doll a bit dead-eyes look on a persones face. But shes over it really, she seems very lively now
