i think this cover will be very successful hit for both britney & Giorgio because

1. Giorgio said he did not edit her voice which means the song will have Britney's natural voice

2. the original song was an acapella with no bridge but giorgio said he will build a bridge for it and change it from acapella into pop/rock

3, the song will have remixes.

4. Britney's voice is totally fitting the song

Sorry but I don't see how these things will make the song successful nobody cares about that, i mean not that it's not important (for us at least) but it's not these things that will make it successful. The fact that she's not edited a lot (people will still say she's autotuned or she sounds different anyway), there is a bridge (ok, who cares?), and there will be remixes (who fucking cares of useless remixes ), doesn't prevent the fact that it could be boring with bad production, and probably 0 promo, no video, which means 0 exposure which means flop on its way. (And just look at how the Kylie song is flopping )

It probably won't even be a single anyway.

Well, we don't know how the song will do. Kylie is not exactly a huge success here in America which in a way explains why the song went nowhere, at least here. Also, we don't know what song it is and if there has been any progress, Giorgio's interview's all sound like they were given at the same time but released at different times so we don't know what stage they are in. Point is, we can't pass judgement on a song that hasn't even been heard nor can we base it off another song from a different artist. We'll have to wait and see what happens.

Well no offensive to the OP but those facts can go either way. Success or flop, but we don't know. Maybe they want to get people pumped and excited for the single and while positive vibes are needed, we also have to be realistic and understand that this can go one way or the other. We have to have realistic faith. Faith that the song can be successful but also if it isn't, know that this isn't her album, so it's GM's name riding on this more than hers.

While i think the song's gonna be an awesome song, i think it's totally gonna fly under the GP's radar. there's been little hype, and there's no way to promo it. Unless, however, it pulls a S&S and it slowly climbs up the Hot 100 just by Britney's gravity alone. I still have no idea how that even happened, had written off S&S as a flop for months until it started to really pick up. Britney's power tbh
