father's eyes was released in norway some years ago by the writer Ina wroldsen, same writer as He about to loose me

I really really like this song, I think it fits britney's voice, maybe a less electronical background

I don't think that these are for the new album at all because just let me go is also said in love 2 love u. And the fathers eyes song was released by another artist. Maybe forgiven is a new.

The thing is these are freshly registered from Britney and not registered from other artist , so we will have to see what happens

I don't see why she would register old songs that were already registered over again and not use them. My guess is she got the songs back and is giving them another try for the next album. If I'm correct back when I visited BH one of the people in one of the boards said that the new album would most likely feature songs that were rejected before since her albums have changed directions numerous times and a lot of good stuff was left out. Idk where that post is, I won't look for it but all I will say is if that's true then good because it makes no sense how they can continously ignore her best work for subpar and average at best. We'll see though.

Okay, then wouldn't the song be registered under the artist who actually released it? Do songs that Britney never recorded or rejected still get registered under her name?

People on exhale are SO reliable lol. These are just old songs and that's it. Plus Just let me go is confirmed to be Love 2 love u so no, they won't use a song that already leaked on internet years ago :drown:

This song is beautiful! Brought tears to my eyes just listening to it. She HAS to record this! :(

I don't know if this post gave you the impression that I 100% believed that but just in case you did I didn't. Still doesn't explain why the songs just got registered though. But whatever let's just make this thread disappear since the information is apparently so wrong and the songs are so old and we're all just so naive for believing that maybe she's recording new music, right?

The songs weren't even just registered tbh, when you look at the BMI work number it doesn't match. Because if the songs would be for the new album and would have been registered just now then the numbers would be bigger.

Look at the list http://repertoire.bmi.com/artist.asp?fromrow=51&torow=75&keyname=SPEARS%20BRITNEY&querytype=ArtistID&keyid=63660&page=3&blnWriter=True&blnPublisher=True&blnArtist=True&affiliation=&cae=

Father's eye is #12584040 , and you see it's the same range of numbers of some FF songs, it means it was registered around the same time as FF songs, so it was already registered since years.

Forgiven is #9098756, same range as blackout/Circus songs, it was registered around this period.

Just let me go is #11541760 which is also the range of FF songs, and so it match with the time when the song leaked on internet (since it's the original name for Love 2 love U).

!!!!! she did this song which was rumored to be for britney...I think she NEEDS to start writing with Britney actually! Father's Eyes definitely sounds like a Britney song especially one from 2000 with a much more mature influence...i dig the whole progressive ballads

That's fine. Whatever.

by the song tittles i can understand this album is going to be full of ballands :4music:

I hope it's not true i need a FF 0.02 or Circus 0.02 :crying1:

Who knows/? I guess we won't know 'til nearer the album release. You can't really judge a song just by the title.
