Rant begins.

Why can't fans on this board be excited for something without someone coming through and bursting bubbles? Can't you be both excited, cautiously optimistic and realistic at the same time without being made to look naive, gullible and dumb to some people here? This is not just in response to the song registration thing, or the moroder song, or the residency, but in general there's just a culture here of being negative just for the sake of not getting your hopes up. If you personally have no faith in anything Britney or her team does anymore, fine I guess, but why be such a killjoy? What do people get out of that?

Rant over.

I'm sorry but this is not a lifetime movie sweetie , don't get me wrong it's all nice & peaches & cream about what you're saying but let's be realistic here , every where u go on the internet there will be negativity . There's no way u can stop ppl from being negative .. People are not gonna come on this forums just to sugar coat things .. There's ppl that are overly positive (delusional) and there's some ppl on here that keep it real and speak the truth such as myself .. & there's also a few ppl that are not even Britney Stan's that come on here just to shade her to make them selves feel better ..

Here's the thing , don't feel bad and feel like ppl are attacking brit and her team just because they are speaking the truth .. Ppl are venting and letting what they feel out .. My

Point is this isn't the sugar coat factory .. We're here to keep it real and speak our minds

I think there's a difference between being cautiously optimistic and believing every rumor that's out there. You have you use your brains with those type of things, and me personally, I'm not going to get excited over something that sounds too good to be true or a couple of registered songs. But I'm also not going to take away anyone else's joy for getting excited over those things. My biggest problem is the people who believe everything, hype themselves up, get disappointed with the final result, and ultimately blame it on Britney

What I feel is we should respect everyone's opinion. If you disagree with it ignore them. They will go away. Many times I feel I want to argue with someone for their statement but I just let them be. Not much I can do about it and I came here because that is what we were all supposed to be doing. Respect each other. And if you see a negative Thread just don't go in to that Thread.

Agreed but you have noticed how positive threads, or just regular threads stating news or rumors and what have you go from 0 to -100 in a few posts? I just don't see the point in that. It kinda of takes away from the vibe on this site in my opinion. It's why I never joined BH because all that place is is a negativity trap. I just hope this place doesn't turn out that way. A fan board like this is only as good as the comments that go up so I just want everyone to try to be as positive, nonjudgmental and argumentative as possible. I personally have some comments I've made be spun around and then an "argument" that I didn't even want to happen starts and then it becomes like "well damn why did I even say anything" and I don't think that is good and I know it happens time and time again so..anyway...

Rainbows, unicorns and applejacks everybody.
