I'm on my phone so if formatting is weird thats why :orangu:

BRIT is killin it at these shows. Like the improvement is beyond I just CANNOT deal with the choreography that doesn't match her style. its weird because I feel like I can't properly adjust as she is not the same dancer she was 10 years ago but she can certainly still dance, but this choreography just doesn't do anything for her. The break the ice/toxic breakdowns are highlights because they suit her and she looks most comfortable. Why can't they incorporate similar style the entire show? I have studied dance almost my entire life I just think it is making the show inconsistent and makes it lack major fluidity. Different songs have different tones but can still be matched to a similar dance style throughout as she has done in the past. I don't know if this makes sense I'm tired. :gloria: I just can't look at the Stronger choreography anymore it makes me want to bash my head into the wall

IM SORRRYYYY

I LOVE U BRITNEY U R DOING SO WELL THO :crying2:

I want to clarify something I wrote above about adjusting to her dance style. I mean that of course she's not the dancer she used to be but still is an excellent dancer and I do believe if she had not become a star shed be a dancer because that is her core. I just wish her choreographers would maybe understand movements and steps that suit her best, not just the backup dancers. She is the spectacle, so why can't get they give her choreo that makes her look more like it

Mabey she just reach the point of that she has nothing left to prove dance wise and now she dances the way she wants think about this way ok you don't have to agree with me it's just my opinion

I just don't really believe she likes all of the choreography because you see her enthusiasm and attitude change when she does those certain breakdowns because I think she gets excited to do them because it's what she feels most connected to - idk hard to explain. I would do it too when I danced - look forward to a specific sequence that I knew I would slay the choreo.

If think she does care about her performances but only when she really FEELS IT. And to me, she is still only feeling bits and pieces of it and to be a performer of her caliber, there will always be higher stakes - that I think she is willing to meet - given that she has more say and have choreographers around her that that understand her level of comfort and what best suits her as opposed to the the entreaty of the show

I agree with everything you said. I was just thinking that a few days ago, every performer has kind of its own dancing style, something that is really "their" face. And right now, Brit doesn't really have it. Instead of doing crazy choreographies, they should focus in finding something that is more, like you said, coherent.

you all are entitled to your own opinions has am I entitled to mine that's what I believe in I don't think she's bored with those dance move cuz like I said she has nothing left to prove dance wise and she will dance the way she pleases

Well, if she has nothing left to prove then why do all these awkward and odd-looking choreos? Why not stick to the style she's always had and always been comfortable with?

I totally agree. Seeing some of these choreos make me wish they hadn't hired Squared Divison. They tried to be too innovative, I believe. I realized this when I saw the WB video. The last choreographer who worked well with Britney's body and style was Andre Fuentes.

Funnily enough, the original Toxic choreo in IABJ looked good. Where the hell did that go? :ohhh:

Agreed.

Honestly i think Britney's team is reading our complaints. Finally we are getting good makeup and no wigs. She is killing it, but as you said.. The highlights are the old choreographies. For me Womanizer is cringe worthy.. I know the idea is to look robotic but that just doesnt fit her and she just walks around with practically no swag. The same with Crazy, Stronger and Boys. ( I can't at the fact that those last 3 had killer iconic choreographies and none of them were used). With that said i think Vegas is a great training for her to get her confidence back and hopefully she could perform in a award show or something big again.

It has the venue size of an awards show!

I think her choreographers are well versed in her past work but they wanted to do something different which is why it's such a weird mix of choreo. I think she should bring a new set of choreographers who can build off of what she's doing now but just better match it to her old style while also bringing something different.

I agree :mhm: And is not recent, since the residency started I always hated those robotic dance moves. Especially during the first break of Slave, God! it's the most awkward dancing I've ever seen. Especially now that they got rid off the chair, but she still does the same moves now with the pole.

Those choreographers, they really don't understand Britney's body and style. If they ever revamp the show, I wish Brian Friedman or that Wade Robson or Andre Fuentes (I had to google the names :P) could come back and do the perfect choreos for Britney. And if they can't, i think Britney herself is very capable of creating her own routines. :yaknow:

i think dancing around like crazy is suited to teenagers the dancing she is doing now is age appropriate. she would look stupid if she was still doing the dancing she did years ago this is classy and age appropriate. can you imagine steps if they did the big reunion show doing their old dance moves it would come off a bit special. she needs to sing a song or two and work on the music element but that is just my opinion.

You're right, but when she had Andre as her choreographer for Circus tour the dancing was much more suitable and more "her"

What???? Andre Fuentes gave some really AWESOME choreos for the music videos...

For the tour though...NO

However, I don't know whose fault it was for the minimum choreo in this tour but going backwards at this point would be disastrous for her career...Only improvements please from now on...

p.s. I kinda enjoy the choreos even though I would change a lot of parts. I definitely have a couple of favorite performances from the whole show that I occasionally search and watch just because I enjoy them(new slave, baby/oops, circus, break the ice, toxic). Overall I consider it an improvement and I want to believe that the next show (in 2020) would be even better...

You call the choreography in POM "classy and age appropriate"? Have you seen Work Bitch, Womanizer, Stronger, Do Somethin, and I Wanna Go? :thatsweird:

Robotic, childish, and awkward is what I'd call it.

The original Toxic and MATM are more suited for a pop star in her 30s.
