So I know this might be old news, I know, I know. But almost 10 years ago (jeez I feel so old, although it feels like yesterday :crying2:) this mexican telenovela Rebelde used to play this song as a background music. It sounds exactly like Outrageous but with different lyrics, that I can't figure out what they say. Ever since, I've wondered who dared to make this rip-off but I've never understood the lyrics, so I can't find the song or the singer.

I've always tought maybe R. Kelly gave the song to other artist, but that sounds crazy. Back in the day Blackout wasn't even released so ITZ/Outrageous was quite recent, so who would dare to copy a current song?

Anyway, here's one clip of the telenovela when they used the song, maybe some of you could tell me the lyrics or find the song...

OMG I remember that scene...geez 10 years ago... Yeah I never understood what was that music either. Maybe the telenovela originally wanted to use Outrageous but they couldnt due to copyright and maybe they made a cover of it....lol I don't know...but thx for the memories!!! :P

It's a translated cover

No, I can definitely tell it's not in Spanish. There are some phrases in English like "You got me (instead of outrageous) whatever you want" or something like that, I can definitely hear some English words here and there, but it's not enough to find the whole lyrics. If I google that, there are hundreds of results but none of them matches exactly :yaknow:

I didn't say it was in Spanish. I just said its a cover. I can't make out any words, but the music and melody show its a cover

:lolohgawd:

you just made my nite with this LOL

BTW Rebelde is not 10 years old!

Of course it is. It came out when I was in 6th grade, I was 11. And now, this is my last year in college, I'm 21 :crying2: So I'm not sure if it was in 2004 or 2005, but this clip is from the first season, so it must be between those years. The band lasted a few more years though, and the telenovela was rebroadcasted many times after it finished. Maybe that's why you remember it is more recent :yaknow:

I don't know if it's the same, but this one is also a total rip-off of the song. I can't :orangu:

I think that one is even worst :gloria:

Well, not actually, because they at least made it clear it was an Outrageous rip-off :orangu: The song I posted doesn't even mention the word Outrageous, they just changed the whole lyrics to make it pass as a different song.

Both of them covers or rip-offs should be punished tho :trollney:
