Pretend you're Britney. :gelis: From favorite to least favorite, list her eight albums based on how you think Britney sees each one.

Go off of performances, general attitude during each era, involvement with each album, and interviews. :bomt:

Leave all biases aside. :frenchy:

I'll start.

1. In The Zone- she has stated her love for songs like Toxic and Early Mornin. She came up with the concept for the OHT and the Toxic MV. Brit Brit was finally getting more control over her work.

2. Blackout- based on how she performs songs from the album, this gem seems to be a favorite of hers. And the Circus tour was pretty much the Blackout tour. Also, our girl was executive producer.

3. Britney- Britney seemed to take pride in this album. She was portraying an image that fit her life--a girl who was transitioning into a woman. The way she sang the songs was fiyah, much like ITZ and Blackout.

4. Circus- I think the overall theme of a Circus was fun for Brit. And she had some input on the album. This one could be tied with Oops.

5. OIDIA- I think Britney had begun to slowly but surely take more control of the music. Her passion and energy during this era was great.

6. BOMT- Over time, she's probably gotten tired of her 1st album, but I think it is special to her.

7. Britney Jean- I actually think Brit likes this more than FF. Because of songs like Alien, Hold on Tight, and Work Bitch.

8. Femme Fatale- As single-worthy as all of the songs are, Britney herself didn't seem to be too fond of the music, the videos, or the tour.

Your turn. :yeathatswhatsup:

I'd prolly be pretty similar to OP:

  1. ITZ
  2. Blackout
  3. Britney
  4. OIDIA
  5. BOMT
  6. Circus
  7. BJ
  8. FF

It's obvious she's nonexistent on her albums past Blackout, and I doubt she enjoyed recording FF and BJ. She seemed to have the most fun and input on ITZ and Blackout, Britney was her personal transition album, and she was still excited and new to the biz for OIDIA and BOMT.

I don't know!!

1 - Blackout: Even though she was going through a really shitty personal moment, I guess the time she spent recording Blackout were her some of her happiest from 2007, cuz she was around people she knew, doing what she had done since she was 17 and was taking control of the whole thing. The way she performs the songs in Vegas and how the setlist of the Circus Tour included more songs from Blackout than Circus itself explains a lot too.

2 - In The Zone: She was experimenting and taking more control of her career and she seemed to be really passionate.

3 - OIDIA: I feel like it was an improved version of BOMT, and that maybe she's a bit tired of the "SHE DID IT AGAIN" thing but she's probably proud of it cuz this album proved she was more than one hit wonder

4 - Circus: She was back doing what she want and there are some flawless songs in it.

5 - BOMT: Maybe the album itself is a bit too cheesy for a 34 year old woman, but it probably brings her back memories of the first time she recorded an album, performed in award shows, toured, etc.

6 - Britney: I know there were songs she didn't want to include on the album and maybe she wasn't completely happy about mixing somgs from Crossroads and from the album itself. Besides, I feel like she pretends this album didn't happen for some reason

7 - BJ: I feel like she liked the album but didn't really control the project and that kinda ruined it for her. She couldn't even make Alien a single.

8 - FF: Taking the era into account, she wasn't feeling it. It's a pity since the album is full of gems

So I don't know if she would rate herself on a number scale but I think she would go in this order of least favorite to most fav:

BJ

BOMT

OIDIA

FF

BRIT

CIRC

BO

ITZ

But I get the feeling that if her team hadn't chopped up BJ and she had more time to do it right she would rate that album her favorite.

You don't think Britney would put ITZ in her top 3 at least?

I actually had it in 3rd place, but then I remembered when she said she wouldn't be that promiscuous again, like if she was embarrassed or something, so I don't know. I really can't imagine how she would rate BOMT, OIDIA and ITZ. Well, actually, all of that it's just speculating :thatsfunny: , but the only one I'm almost 100% sure is that she would say Britney Jean is her favorite so far. Maybe if we already had B9, Britney Jean would be at a lower place.

Let's say I just rated the albums as if I was current Britney "when she feels like 50" :P

I agree for the most part (despite a few changes).

1. In The Zone - over 10 years later and Britney still talks about non-singles from this album. Plus she performs it's material on every tour and she LOVES Toxic. She always slays these songs on stage. ITZ is by far her favorite from what I can tell. Even though it was the changed OD project.

2. Britney Jean - this album, despite being hated by most fans, was no doubt very personal to her and she had fun making it. :)

3. Britney - Britney had a lot of control over this album so she decided to name it after herself. I think she likes this album a lot. Especially since she performs Boys on every tour. :zoomzoom:

4. Circus - Britney had fun with this album and it was personal for her. Plus, it was from a great time in her life.

5. Oops - Britney had a bit more control over this album than BOMT and she had fun. :D

6. Blackout - I'm sure Britney LOVES this album as much as her fanbase, however I don't think it's her favorite. Besides, it was from a horrible time in her life and it's probably hard for her to remember this album without having bad memories come to mind.

7. BOMT - it's her first album. Although she had fun and it will always be special to her, the lack of creative control probably made it a bit less memorable.

8. Femme Fatale - I love this album... but Britney's lack of energy on the album promotion and parts of the tour made it appear that she didn't care about the album at all. I think part of the reason why is that they changed her original idea so much.
