This was ap long time ago, btw you should write that the quote is from Dev Hynes because you forgot to mention him so the way you wrote it made it sound like it was from Will lol.

But anyway stop blaming Will for everything, as much as i don't like BJ, he only did his job. It's B-team who chose to work with him. Britney had open her mouth and be more involved if that's not what she wanted.

And the first demo anyway is real bad, and the 2nd is great but fits more someone like Rihanna than Britney imo.

Team Britney wanted less dark songs and for Britney to do writing on the songs. Dev wasn't up for the "weird" changes so his songs were rejected. I think the issue with Dev was that he wasn't hearing this from Brit but Will and Larry. But that is how Brit works now. She's uncomfortable with confortation and usually smiles and seems to go with the flow but not really if you read her face and body language.

Well, I was never particularly excited about these demos when they leaked, but I have to agree with him:

"I feel like that’s what makes the best music, when people are a fan of the person they’re working with."

That's something I've always said. And that applies not only to producers or writers, but the whole team. I don't doubt that maybe Britney's team think her music it's ok, cool, but I really don't see Adam or Larry jamming to Work Bitch or name any other song. And I think that should be very important. Even Britney herself should be really in love with her music. When they see this just as s business, that's when we start to notice a lack of quality in the music, the shows, everything, because they're just sticking with the schedules, the money they can spend, the money they're gonna earn, but it seems like they forget about the actual product that they're selling, and they start to forget about what "their brand" was supposed to be in the first place. And it goes the same to any other artist, not just Britney.
