Doing really good? :orangu: since when 79% in a 7K venue is good? :orangu:

Taking into consideration that it is in the exact same venue, same city, same show, etc. every night, that's pretty good. If she changed things up it would be more.

That's what people aren't getting. The show has been going on for over a year in the same venue, it's not like she's touring to her fans, she's stationary and has been for a long time. Most of those acts on the list are traveling to places where their fans haven't been able to see them for some time. The numbers she's pulling are great for Vegas. Could they be better? Of course. I'm sure they'll improve once there's new music and she's in the news again, but right now she's doing great all things considered, and I don't think that's making excuses for her, it's just being realistic without being negative.

This never stopped Elton John and Celine Dion from pulling amazing numbers though. Even Elton's 7th leg was fully sold out and his total attendance was 347,042 / 351,234. Celine Dion was only short by 5K per leg halfway through her residency to sell out in full. And then there's Britney who is failing to sell out since leg 5 where she fell to 36,607 / 50,228. Her numbers are painful in comparison to other Vegas stars. I really don't see how she's going to extend it.

It's not making excuses. Broadway shows show the same trend. Naturally they sell extremely well at first, then after a while the sales dip, but when they go on tour they sell more, because people don't have to travel and fans on the shows go and also the general public says "hey this is coming to town let's go!" and the same happens to Britney when she tours. It's just how stationary shows work. :) I'm sure once Britney adds new music into the show, fans will re-visit and it will grab media attention if the change is dramatic enough so sales will go up.

Some of you are crazy if think she will be 100% or 90% sold out every leg, this is a residency, she is in the same pace always is not like a tour where you visit a different city and people are anxious to see her because maybe is the only opportunity that you have to see this tour, here people know that she is still there and will be for 2 years, maybe more if she extend, you all should see the reviews of the residence of celine she experimented a decline after the first year. And I'm not being delusional is something very predictable. :frenchy:

If they're thinking about extending the contract then clearly the show is selling well...

It might not be selling like Celine and Elton but that's because those are acts that attract OLDER AUDIENCES with more money. Britney attracts younger audiences. THIS is the reason they got Britney to agree to do a Vegas residency in the first place lmao for younger audiences. She is selling well in my opinion and I applaud her hard work. ;)

The problem in this case is also fans over seas and from other continents have no access to see the show.

last week i was in vegas and i saw her on the 02/25/2015. it looked like that the axis was sold out and.there were older people.

but for me it was very expensive to fly to vegas from germany.

That's because the box office is combined for all of her Vegas shows and arena shows are counted individually and not together. Enrique fucking Iglesias had an attendance of 15,492 in one show; Britney needed 13 shows to get 39,040 people to see her. #1 on the box-score means nothing. You're really lying to yourself if you think the show is doing well.

Exactly my point.

I think those numbers work for Britney and Planet Hollywood. I don't see the big deal.
