Why 1999 Was The Greatest Year In Music History

"Let’s start with the obvious.

1999 was the beginning of the biggest rivalry since the whole North vs. South drama of the Civil War: Britney vs. Christina. Never has a nation been more divided.

In 1999 (well, technically the end of ‘98), “… Baby One More Time†literally and figuratively changed music and music video history (as well as the way we look at school girl uniforms) for the rest of time.

The equally iconic “Sometimes†and “(You Drive Me) Crazy†came out this year as well. Both of which are masterpieces that stand on their own. The boob part and “Sometimes†vagina itch are unforgettable music history gems.

“Genie In A Bottle†also came out in 1999. That was cool moment. Moving on…"

I can not handle the idiot who says britney in her prime was bad dancer. :4music: It was the last missing :displeased:

First of all, I did not speak, I typed. Second of all, I could write hieroglyphs and still get the point across that Britney was a hack talent at best. I bet you can't name or show one instance where Britney was able to display any vocal or dancing skill.

Marc Andre Bolduc You must smoke crack! So Britney was a better dancer than Beyonce, Janet Jackson, Ciara, JLo, Madonna, Pink, Shakira, etc. You mean Britney was unwatchable as a dancer. And for the record, vocally unique does not necessarily mean good.
