The choreography and staging is shit, there's nothing special about it at all. So basic. The POM performance is 1000x better even if it's only half the song. 3

I am glad it did because now everyone can see that she did not "slay" the rehersals and that there was no imaginary other choreography btu she didnt do it cuz she was "drunk" . This proves she literally didn't give an ant's shit for this performance and was forced into it (obviously). I am not glad it leaked because Brit will see it and it will remind her of the sad times when she wasnt her best self.

The choreography was terrible, she's more basic than thiefonce's, it's walking round, hip movements, and walking up and down big steps. Don't get me wrong, she wasn't very good there but if I got the gig to do Britney's big comeback performance, I'da come with something better than that. ​Disgusting that she got slandered and dragged when the whole world knew she was actually in the middle of a breakdown, and MTV let this happen? I guess they knew they would make money and get so much publicity, she should have paid them dust afterward Glad they suck now with their flop shows.

The reason no one expected what happened in the actual performance after watching this, was this was liturally a marking. Britney was a total mess at the time though. Just by the fact that she was doing things that was risking her child custody rights was enough to know that. I wish the record company or whomever didn't force this performance. Britney had pretty much just given up on everything in 2007.

A dress rehearsal means you are doing everything just like the real performance to see if everything is working fine. That includes costumes, makeup, hair, lighting, etc. That video we have is a rehearsal, not the dress rehearsal. None of the dancers including Britney are in costume.

rocket Posted March 7, 2015 #72 Report Posted March 7, 2015 The actual performance is better then this lol The rumor at the time was that she was working with Chris Angel and wanted it to have a magic/illusion theme going on. What I heard is she wanted multiple Britney's to pop up and disappear and then she being the real Britney would appear and then go on to do the number. The concept was too complicated for MTV and Chris to handle so it got scrapped for this. This plus her state at the time explains why she was so not there during the performance. Its not what she really wanted and she was over it. Then her nerves and whatever else got to her. It adds up because she went on to add a magic/illusion element to both the circus tour and the POM shows. Yes, i read this too somewhere. I think she needs to do something like this now in an award show!!!!! i mean add something of magic or illusion into a performance so she wouldn't have to do a lot of choreography. A performance with a bit of choreography + some cool new magic trick/illusion = new iconic performance
