Ooh-Ooh Britney Posted March 11, 2015 #1 Report Posted March 11, 2015 I've noticed a lot of you guys call Lucky a cry for help about how she was struggling with fame and how she felt and stuff but I don't really see it like that. She didn't write the lyrics of the song, I've heard it wasn't originally thought for Brit and it was released in 2000. 2000 WAS AN AMAZING YEAR FOR HER. She was stepping up her game, she was getting used to her fame, the media hate hadn't begun yet, she was dating Justin, she was the fucking american dream. I really don't see it as a cry for help. What do you guys think? Cry or help or not, the song is a fucking classic and the music video is so beautiful Bow down to Lucky 1
Britney_Dorgas Posted March 11, 2015 #3 Report Posted March 11, 2015 Brinny is a prophet, with that said, I believe she can somehow connect with her future and past self and pass through telepathy the information to other people without their notice in order to write songs such as Lucky, Piece of Me and Soda Pop. So yes I think it is a cry cry cry for help and a warning too 1

Nelli Gaidai Posted March 11, 2015 #7 Report Posted March 11, 2015 no i do not think so. i mean i think she always had this side to her where she would experience really sad feelings and wonder about what ifs in life or whatever, ive noticed she was always drawn to ballads but it wasnt a cry for help. at least not back than. i mean the negativity might of started a little bit here and there and then got worse and worse with time but that was definitiely not it. she loves the saddness of the song, that is why she probably recorded it but other than that, there was nothing else to it tbh

It is lonely at times when you are successful. You work hard and have no time for a personal life. That part I think Britney could identify with.
Kyros Posted March 11, 2015 #13 Report Posted March 11, 2015 it would be a cry for help if britney wrote that song but no she didnt wrote it, at that time she was just a jive puppet, she had to record and release the songs that the label record belive would be a hit for her, that's how it works when you are new in the industry you are just a puppet, yeah she can help with the desisions and say what she feels about her proyects but at the end the label got the ultimate decision. when britney started to make the things on her way was until in the zone proyect that's when she was more into the production, also blackout and from circus to today she just don't give a fuck anymore, she just record what she thinks is cool, funny, urban, and nicer, but the label takes the decisions again about the albums
