Wow, let me start by saying that I can't believe Jordan was right about the Billboard cover.

 

Anyway, regarding the cover... HOT, HOT, AND MORE HOT!!! Her hair, makeup, cloths, etc. are all on point and she looks great! Very beautiful photoshoot overall. 

 

Regarding Album 9, I'm actually happy she's taking her time with it and seeing about her kids first. She's a human being, and I'd rather her take her time to craft a masterpiece than rush out a shitty album. I'm down to wait and let Queen B take as long as she likes. I've got her entire discography to keep me entertained as well as other artists until she's ready to put it out. On the bright side, Larry did confirm we are getting some new singles soon, and knowing Britney we'll get music videos as well. So those will keep us company until the album is ready. Keep Calm and Let Godney Create her Masterpiece.   

 

As far as the Larry comments are concerned, I think a lot of you are taking what he said a bit out of context. He said "albums aren't AS important in the digital age" and he does have a point. Album sales have been in decline for over a decade now, digital singles and concert tickets are the main way artists make their money now. I'm so sick of everyone always hating on Larry. I actually think him and Adam are really good managers. Larry basically helped to create and craft the Britney empire as the mega Pop star we love today and helped her to break out in the huge way that she did. He's been there since right after the MMC I believe, so he knows how Britney's business works behind the scenes.

I'm personally very okay with waiting another year (if be) for a new record. Was really disappointed with Britney Jean and I don't want her to realease something at all similar to that. I want it to be a well produced record that she had a lot of time to create. I don't want something thrown together just because we want it now. On the bright side we are getting the iggy track and the Georgio song with possible videos. It's not horrible news, at least we are getting something this year.

well thats good that she's taking her time. at first, i thought it was because she really wants to put out a good album and make sure it is really high quality but it sounds like she is reconsidering her life priorities. something's slowing her down. she wants a break from this. that's not for i expected or wished would of been but im glad because she is taking her life in her own hands and finally sounds like making decisions she wants to. maybe her c-ship ended? if so, then i am VERY excited. i wasn't dying for new music. after all, she's given us so much. im glad she's taking the time for herself now. but i hope she comes back with something really amazing

 I am 100% okay with this  . New Singles will be fun. She seems to know what she is wanting to do and for the first time in a while no one is PUSHING her to make an album , she wants and is placing her children first which I fully understand . And how dare anyone fault her for that .

 

 Also taking time for an album is a relief for me. We all know rushed music it can be good but not up to what Britney is capable of recording .

He has been her manager through everything and is probably responsible for a lot of our favorite Britney moments, songs, etc.. SO CALM DOWN PPL! All he said is that in the digital age Singles are more important than Albums.. which happens to be true in the market right now and that's not HIS fault!   I'm excited for the new singles and can't wait to see her in Vegas again!

Considering where making her career first took her, this is actually good thing. I can imagine it's not that easy to change your focus after working pretty much non-stop for for over ten years. the fact that she did it is amazing.

And even if she has so much freetime outside her kids and the show, doesn't she have the right just be and relax without constantly working on something?

Oh... I didn't know she now has primary custody of her children.  That's great news and makes total sense why she wants to spend as much time with them as she can.  Unlike other women of pop, they weren't stripped of their rights over their children.  So it's hard to fault her when opting to stay in Vegas and just do her thing there. 

 

The focus on singles, over an album, isn't bad in theory but they need to be consistant and really good.  I have a feeling we'll only get the two confirmed collabs this year and that will be it tbh.

Looking stunning on the cover of Billboard Magazine, Britney tells a little bit something of making her new album:

I'm gonna do [a new album] slowly but surely," Spears tells Billboard for the latest cover story, on stands Friday, March 13. "There's a lot going on with my kids and schools and, you know, adding new sports and stuff like that. I'm gonna try to do my best to do an amazing album, but it's not my full priority right now." The mother of sons Sean Preston, 9, and Jayden James, 8, then added with a laugh, "Kids can drive you crazy.
