I just watch the documentary about Selena.I never heard anything about her.But in this documentary I remembered the times that Britney let bad people enter her life.Poor thing

And actually I always find the die-hard ,obsessed fans really disturbing. And dangerous for her . I understand the awkward smile better now.

and I remember that someone was stalking her and actually she got into her garden several times. That's scary as f**k man..

Selena was killed by someone in her team (like the financial manager or something).

But yes that is VERY scary for Britney. Sadly, this happens to a lot of famous people. :icanttt:

The woman that killed Selena was the president of her fan club. She was caught embezzling money from the club and some boutiques she helped with/set up for Selena and was fired. Then a few weeks after she was fired is when she killed Selena, because Selena was demanding the finacal records from her

A lot of people don't realize that just because we think we know Britney, she DOESN'T know us. There are a lot of sick twisted crazy people out there, and with her level of fame there are reasons her team may seem "overprotective" of her

Ah. Okay. I had seen the movie but forgot who the woman was. I think I said financial manager because I do remember that there was the issue of money involved.

I thought you were talking about Selena Gomez :orangu:

Well, yes, we are lucky. But unfortunately Britney isn't the only one, every celebrity are in the same situation. Even normal people can have stalkers. Sadly, there are psychos everywhere  :bitchney:

But, i doubt she smiles awkwardly because of that tho, she's just shy (probably have/had social anxiety) so she's only fine when she's comfortable. Plus, i believe she just can't smile on command anymore, it always looks awkward/fake even with people she knows.

that woman also worked for her and was long time Selena (or her family) friend, and she killed her bcz she was cought stealing money, and bcz Selena fired her (or supposed to fire her few days prior murderer)

Selena's case was more about money than stalking etc.

Anyway I understand it a bit,but op is overeacting a bit since everyone deals with shit like this (celebs and regular ppl) and they don't act like someone is about to shoot them everytime they are out and about and in events.

She didn't know Selena until she became president of the fan club though, they were strangers before then. Afterwards is when they became friendly and she started helping Selena in other aspects of her career ie the boutiques.

While I agree that stalkers are everywhere, and for everybody including "normal" people, I DO think it's a contributing factor to the "overprotectiveness" of her team. It's not the only thing, or even the main one. But it's definitely one of the many.

Plus like someone else said, Britney is a naturally shy person. She's not going to be overly friendly to a bunch of people she doesn't know, hence her awkward/fake smiles at times. That's nothing she should be bullied or made of for either, especially from her fans.

If her parents hadn't stepped in when they did, we wouldn't have the Britney we have today. We wouldn't hav her at all and that's a terrifying reality to think about

and I can't stand when people say that it was not necessary ,taking away her freedom in 2007 with the conservatorship.I remember that I read official court papers about Sam Luthfi bought many houses and transfered a big amount of money into his bank account.Just same with Selena.
