Here's my list:

...Baby One More Time -

Well I was like 9 when this album came out, so my mom bought my sis and I the cassette album (which I still have!) from a Warehouse Music store in the mall for us to listen to in the car/share. This was in January 1999, can't remember the exact date, was probably around the release date or soon after. I later bought the CD at Circuit City in 2001, when I was older and had my own money.

Oops!...I Did It Again -

My sis and I were soooo excited to get this album. I remember we begged our mom to take us to the mall after school to get us the album, but she actually surprised us with it in the car when she picked us up from school that day. I'm pretty sure she got it from Wal-Mart, and it was either on the release date or very soon after. It was def May 2000.

Britney -

Circuit City on November 6, 2001. I also bought my own copies of BOMT and Oops CD's. My sis drew hearts all over the original Oops CD we had.  :zoomzoom:

In The Zone -

Best Buy on November 18, 2003. I remember it was such an amazing experience getting the album home and listening to it in full the first time. I had heard clips on Britney's website, but hadn't heard the full thing yet.

Greatest Hits: My Prerogative -

My flawless mom surprised me with a copy of the digipack deluxe version as soon as I got home from school, as well as the DVD. I remember I was so thrilled to watch that amazing DVD! She got it from Wal-Mart on November 9, 2004.

B In The Mix: The Remixes -

Best Buy on November 22, 2005.

Blackout -

I got this from Target, right when the store opened that day, October 30, 2007. The employees hadn't even opened the box yet to stock them on the shelf, I had to ask them to get it for me.

Circus -

Target on December 2nd, 2008.

The Singles Collection -

Target on November 9th, 2009. I also ordered the box set from Amazon and got it on November 24th, 2009.

Femme Fatale -

Target on March 29th, 2011. Premium Fan Edition from Britney.com

Britney Jean -

Target on December 3rd, 2013. Fan bundle from Britney.com

...Baby One More Time.

I became a fan when she released "Crazy" and my older sister had her album on cassette at the time.  She was in one of those BMG music buying clubs, knew I was a big fan of Britney's, and bought me the CD. (I still have it.)

Oops!... I Did It Again.

I was in full on stan mode at this point. I begged my mom to take me to Best Buy and to be excused early from school.  Since I always did really well she didn't mind obliging.  Purchased this album the first day of its release.

Britney, In the Zone, Greatest Hits: My Prerogative, B in The Mix: The Remixes Vol1

All underwhelming stories: purchased 'em at Wal-Mart.  At this point I was driving, still in HS/entering college, and working.  BITM:TR, I remember purchasing during Black Friday of that year.

Blackout, Circus, The Singles Collection, Femme Fatale, B in The Mix: The Remixes Vol2, Britney Jean

To keep tradition going, I have physical copies of all these (deluxe) albums and were either purchased from Target or Amazon.  FF, BITM:TR2, BJ were preorders thru iTunes.

...Baby One More Time -

A week after I purchased Oops!... I Did It Again, my mom bought it for me

Oops!...I Did It Again -

I purchased it the day it was released. I was still living in Mexico. I "borrowed" my mom's credit card and treated myself :P

Britney -

I went to K-mart after school to purchase it they day it came out. One of my friends and I went. I purchased two copies

In The Zone -

I skipped class on release day and made my friend ditch school, we both went to Target and I purchased 3 copies, one for my other friend that didn't want to get in trouble and decided not to ditch

Greatest Hits: My Prerogative -

To be honest I don't remember when I purchased it but I am sure it was on the day it was released along with the DVD. I purchased the digipak versions of both

B In The Mix: The Remixes -

I purchased "And Then We Kiss" the day the CD was released on iTunes. I didn't purchased the physical copy until a few weeks later

Blackout -

I went early on release day to Target and I purchased a couple copies. I was so excited to get it even though I had purchased the iTunes copy at midnight. I went back a few weeks later when they released the "Target Exclusive edition"

Circus -

Target on release day. iTunes at midnight

The Singles Collection -

Target on November 9th, 2009 and I purchased the boxset on release day at a local record store

...Baby One More Time

Those CD catalogs where you bought one cd and got 14 free. I doubted if I really wanted it even though I stanned hard for "Sometimes" and "(You Drive Me) Crazy".; my sister pushed me to order it and I thank God everyday for it.

Oops!...I Did It Again

We went to Target the day it was released and it was sold out so we went to FYE and made my dad pay 19.99 for it... he thought it was expensive but I told him I needed it in my life and he gave in.

Britney

Don't remember but I know it was the day it was released.

In The Zone

Got 10 copies the day it was released. Ditched school. 2 at Circuit City. 2 at Target. 2 at Walmart. 2 at Best Buy. 2 at FYE. Asked for different receipts every time since back then it was rumored that if they were all in the same receipt it only counted as one. The cashiers were annoyed but I didn't care :bomt:

Blackout

Circuit City the day it was released

Circus

Best Buy the day it was released. I stole a gift card from my then boyfriend (he told me he wasn't gonna use it anyway)

Femme Fatale

Target the day it was released

Britney Jean

Target. Bought 8 copies of the deluxe the day it was released.

Bomt/Oops l: I believe both were gifts for two of my b-days.

Britney: I think I/my mom got it out of F.Y.E.

In the Zone: At my grandma's house on Christmas day. Needless to say, none of my family members knew how raunchy the songs were. They just knew I was obsessed with Britney and bought it for me. :ummlol: Has anyone else ever listened to Breathe on Me at your grandma's house on Jesus's birthday......when you were 9? :pieceofwhat:

GH:MP: Can't remember. Just remember being slayed by the couple of new songs.

Blackout: I was at Target after going shopping with my mom. I had a spiritual moment in the car on the way back home as I listened to my walkman cd player.

Circus: Target again.

FF: Probably at Target again. (I love Target)

Bj: Did not purchase.

Baby / Oops - I was so young I dont really remember the actual day I got the CDs.. I do remember going to a Sam Goodies circa 2002 and seeing a copy of BOMT with the alternate white cover and I BEGGED my parents to buy it for me just because the cover was different and they did just to shut me up

Britney - My cousin who was about 18 at the time picked me up after school and brought me to the house because she was babysitting me that day. My mom took the car and we were stranded at the house and I was DYING for the new Britney CD so we ended up walking like 3 blocks to a K-Mart so I could get it. We raced back home and I put it in and was super disappointed because I hated Slave (at first)... Overprotected was and still is my fav lol  :bomt:

ITZ - I dont remember the specific day but I do remember the day she performed MATM at the NFL Kickoff. I was playing in my room or something and suddenly my family was like "Quick come here Britney's doing a new song!!" and I rushed in and died! (this may be the first time I had truly been slayed) From that day forward I was pumped af for ITZ

GH:MP - made my parents buy me the deluxe cd and the DVD with the videos even though they insisted I didnt need it because I already had the songs. I made them play the Chris Cox Megamix every time we were in the car for like a month

Blackout - this one is a little blurry tbh. I remember telling people at school I was excited for Britney's new CD and they all looked at me weird and were like "...why?"  :4music:

Circus - I was so freaking pumped the day it came out. Before school I made sure Britney's GMA performance was being taped while I was away and was super antsy to get to the store all day. My mom brought me to Target right after school and I ended up buying the standard version by accident then had to go back the next day and buy a deluxe edition too.  :pieceofwhat:

FF - I stayed up all night waiting for my preorder to finish downloading and was freaking out the whole time. I ended up listening to the whole album at like 3 am on a school night. At school we weren't aloud to have our phones or iPods with us so I was singing I Wanna Go in my head all day. After school my mom had work so I couldn't get to the store until late at night and by that time my Target store had ran out of the deluxe edition so we had to speed to Best Buy and bought it within minutes of the store closing.

BJ - Me and my friend are both big Britney fans but we go to different high schools. On that day he came to my school as soon as his school got out, picked me up, and drove me to Target so we could both get our copies. I had already listened to the album on the iTunes stream but he hadn't so we listened to it while we drove around.

My mom and dad bought me the cassette tape right after it's release, they had bought me the sampler tape before that. Then my mom ordered the cd for me through one of those mail in order things, it was my first ever cd. I sadly don't know what happened to my cassettes, but I still have the cd and 4-5 other copies for each color combo of the discs and the Australian version.

Oops!...I Did It Again

My mom bought the cd for me as a early birthday present from walmart..I think it was. I now have 4 copies, 1 given too me by a friend and I bought the other 2.

Baby

I really liked Baby one more time single, and like Sometimes, one day we were in the mall and I saw it in a music shop and just thought 'why not?', asked my mum and I was slayed ever since.

Oops

I was 8 and I went after school on the Monday it came out, my mum knew what time it was and it was purchased ASAP

Britney

I was in full stan mode then, Nov 5th 2001 it came out, I took the day off school, had money saved and copped that shit instantly, listened to the album all day

In the Zone

Bought it after school in out local shop, I was so curious about that album because it was when Britney was like different, not a 'virgin' and just grown up.

Blackout

It was a horrible time, my family was really effected by the recession so we were broke, I had no money to by Blackout at all, I was in so much trouble because I ran the phone bill up to £300 pounds like an idiot. I was low and just need to talk to my friends. I managed to borrow money to buy Blackout on the Thursday, that was 4 days into it's release which was super late to me but I felt more than any other album, I needed to contribute to her first week sales. It was sold out everywhere in London, I don't think they stocked many copies as they assumed it wouldn't sell but I got it by walking literally 8 miles to get it. It was #2 in the UK.

Circus

We were still effected by the recession and I didn't get money till the following week of Circus' release  :crying1:  :crying1:  :crying1:  :crying1:  The less said about that the better :smokeney:

Femme Fatale

We were back on our feet, back to slaying, family business was thriving, I got a separate job, as well as a job there and I bout FF the first day, I bought my physical copy in the supermarket, which is what I wished I thought of doing when I purchased Blackout. :4music:

Britney Jean

Got it on itunes, listened to it that day and the listen to it the next time a month later :12:
