This song became better the exact moment Britney decided to do a remix with Rihanna. Not to mention how the song was at #90 or whatever in the charts, and then when the remix with Britney was released it went for that #1 straight away . Brit sounds amazing in it, she does sound as if she had a cold at certain moments tho, but many people say she actually did have a cold while recording because they couldn't postpone it nevertheless her vocals rocked  and the original is literally boring as fuck when compared  to the remix. Imagine the music video for the song tho would probably be the sexiest thing she has ever done with Rihanna in her best era in it. A girl can dream

Such an underrated collaboration! She does sound sick, but I love her voice on that song. If only she had done a video

And it's alright, Britney's vocals are a little too chipmunkney for me but it's still a bop

I really love this version much better than the original. The only shame isa they didn't shoot a video and that the performance at the billboards was very plain. Enjoyable but simple. They could've done something amazing.

This collab is too underrated! The remix is so much better than the original and Britney got the best part - her lyrics were pretty controversial imo. The music video would rock our worlds and would probably get certified really fast, but at least we got a performance!

I.fucking.love the s&m remix ..she did Sound like she had a cold at the part when she sang "and i love the smell of it" and I did not even know.she was gonna perform at the bma's that day.. then i seen bunny ears pop up and i hear "ah,ah,ah" Right away I knew that was Britneys voice and I just went crazy

Omg me too!! I had no idea that Britney was going to be there.. I changed the channel like 30 seconds of the rihana performance then I changed back at the perfect moment..I knew that was Britney going up.. I dont know how.. it felt so amazing.. I wasn't that obsessed with her back then but was definitely an amazing feeling..

I like this collab and glad it happened, but Britney's vocals should have been layered better.  It sounds like 2 Britney's singing with 8 Rihanna's, and she would have sounded less congested had that been fixed.

 

I enjoyed the live version too and Britney's entrance/response from the audience was great.
