Britney's Discography Is In At The Jay Z And Beyonce Thing ''tidal''

I just made a thread about this but i didn't know she was gonna be apart of it. I hope she doesn't release exclusive stuff on there  :frenchy:

I do not think britney belong to ''this group'' because they made several meetings and nobody never mention that britney was there I think they just pay for having the britney's catalog available on their site maybe just talk with her label just like spotify did and pay every months copyrights. Britney has a big catalog and is a pop icon for them is beneficial to have her catalog on in it in money terms.

Jay z and beyonce everyday more rich :pieceofwhat:  :omg1:

Yes, I honestly do not think this tidal will be work it, for example spotify  less than half of their user got the premium service but they still allow free streams on tidal will not be the same only  can have one month of free service, but they pay more to artists than spotify as if is trying to albums sales for this is because all  artists are supporting this,  the service will be $ 20 a month but the quality on the music is higher, yes but  I'm not here for that shit, we'll see $ 20 costs a physical CD  is like I buying 12 CDs of an artist  or I buy  a CD every month... these people are not stupid.  dont ask why taylor  give them all her catalog.$$$$$$$$

Britney: '' Despite ongoing turmoil in her life that summer and fall -- including a disastrous performance at MTV's Video Music Awards -- Blackout arrived in October 2007. It proved to be her least successful album to date, charting three Top 40 hits but failing to achieve platinum certification within its first year of release.

Spears' public image was dealt more blows in early 2008 when she lost custody of her children, made several court appearances, and was placed on involuntary psychiatric hold twice in one month'' :4music:

THE SHADE ON OTHERS ARTIST ARE EVEN WORTS

Beyonce : '''Beyoncé Giselle Knowles-Carter, also known as Béysus and Queen Béy by her fans, was born September 4, 1981. She is an American singer, songwriter, and actress, born and raised in Houston, Texas. She has performed in various singing and dancing competitions as a child, and rose to fame in the late 1990s as lead singer of R&B girl-group Destiny's Child, where she carried the group for many years with her amazing Grammy winning voice.''

what's so wrong about this tho?

Because they promoted this yesterday and today as if this was some kind of social justice movement and exploiting the GP saying it's "for all" - if that was the case it would have a free service. It's disgusting they used various social justice movements on social media as a base for their "movement" aka they just want more money. $20 a month to stream music that you don't even own. It's shit and it's very greedy. They thought they could fool the public but people are disgusted by what went down today in NYC. All that star power in that room would make you think they were coming together for a charitable cause but all it is is more money going into their pocket.

It was appalling how one of them...madonna I think...said we needed to bring respect back to music, like this is the cure all. How about stop putting out shit people don't feel is worth the buy and would rather just go on YouTube, spotify, etc.

They all in there like they're about to cure cancer and end world hunger but no they just want more money because their albums flop because they continue to put out craptastic material.

"Where she carried the group.." Why don't they just slap Michelle and Kelly in the face? Christina's is rude as hell too and even have the word flop included in her bio. Sickening.

But hey, they also need to pay the labels for the access to share all of these albums, it's not like all that money they earn from subscriptions is going into their pocket. I understand that overall people will prefer Spotify, because it's for free, however the quality isn't very nice and if you want something better you have to pay for it anyway, so no difference at all. Tidal or whatever it's called also offer a lossless which isn't available on Spotify if I am correct[?], so it's like getting a library full of original cd rips in only one application

I also pretty much agree with what Madonna or someon else has said, today people want music for free yet don't consider a fact how much money it costs an artist to get all the producers, songwriters etc. into the studio to record a couple songs for an album, which is sad. It really seems like nowadays everyone forgot about it, because having an access to everything is a common thing, they even started counting streams to the actual charts (which I find hilarious).

Okay, they shouldn't care about money but don't forget it's also their job, they spend so much time making those records and dedicate their lives to make other people happy, instead they could hace spend all that time with their families or going on vacations all the time but they don't. Do you really think some of them still need money? Look at Madonna, this woman is probably one of richest celebrities on the planet, why would she waant to make more? It doesn't make any sense, she already has anything she wants, I'd say she had it back in the 80s, so if she was here only for it what was the point of continuing her music career? I guess because she likes doing it and she's happy when people are still interested in her as a musican/singer.

Of course, there are a couple exceptions who live for money but I don't believe that any of those people attending this conference are so hungry for having more cash on their bank accounts. Britney also gets paid for performing in Vegas and her tickets are kinda expensive, does it mean all she cares about is money?

And don't get me wrong, I have nothing against anyone who streams music or even download it ilegally, because I understand that not everyone can afford everything they want and it's an amazing option for them, but 10 years ago paying for the music was a normal thing, I'm pretty sure you can agree with me, just look at the standard sales back then and today. Soon people will want albums to be giving away, because it will be appropriate to call for money in exchange for their work. Fortunately or unfortunately, this is the world we live in and nothing will change, but I personally don't have any problem with Tidal and think it's an ok idea to create an app which offers the best sound format possible withing your hand, just my personal opinion   :)
