I don't use other streaming services, i don't intend to use this, i have an ipod and an extensive cd collection (which i continue to add to) for a reason and can afford $1.29 when i want a single song. Not to mention, i'd rather not use up my data streaming music!!

 

I support the music artists by buying, unless it's something not able to purchase (like Britney's unreleased shit), cuz if i was an artist, i'd wanna get paid for my work, i just choose to support them mainly the old school way. Average everyday people don't work for free, so why should musical artists, actors/actresses and anybody else in the arts. Not all that money goes into their pockets, there's a fuck load of other people they gotta pay.

Because they promoted this yesterday and today as if this was some kind of social justice movement and exploiting the GP saying it's "for all" - if that was the case it would have a free service. It's disgusting they used various social justice movements on social media as a base for their "movement" aka they just want more money. $20 a month to stream music that you don't even own. It's shit and it's very greedy. They thought they could fool the public but people are disgusted by what went down today in NYC. All that star power in that room would make you think they were coming together for a charitable cause but all it is is more money going into their pocket.

It was appalling how one of them...madonna I think...said we needed to bring respect back to music, like this is the cure all. How about stop putting out shit people don't feel is worth the buy and would rather just go on YouTube, spotify, etc.

They all in there like they're about to cure cancer and end world hunger but no they just want more money because their albums flop because they continue to put out craptastic material.

Apparently Jay-Z invested 56 million into this money-grabbing mess. All that money could have fed millions of children, been donated to medical research, or have gone towards hundreds of others good causes.

Like Madonna is worth over a billion and has had 30 years in the industry thanks to her loyal fans. These artists are complaining as if they are broke and haven't made any money for their "art".

I am guilty of downloading songs for free, but typically I buy the music and financially support the artists I like. Streaming seems like a waste because I want my music to be mine permanently.

Plus no streaming service has absoluetely everything. Who wants to keep switching between streams and MP3 playlists? Offline modes are also pretty useless if you want to listen to something new because it won't be in your cache, so if you happen to lose your connection or have a data limit then you're only going to be able to listen to a certain amount of songs.

Definitely. I feel like if these streaming services didn't exist, people would buy more music again. Having purchased music in my playlist full time if far more convenient. I just want to press play and go. No adds, no checking for a good connection.

The thing is that all biographies of artists have shades...... they took the time to rewrite the biographies of Beyonce and Jay Z with perfect things and only about their musical careers but NOT by others if it was a copy past by itunes ok is not their fault but since they rewrite beyonce's biography  they should make the same with their colleagues too, wasn't necessary put about a breast implant that anyone remember in over 13 years ago, mention that Brandy kill someone or say that xtina is a flop.  If was copied from Itunes they had to do the same with beyonce biography  I bet all the biographies of the senior partners are flawless,  many things on it are rumors that have nothing to do with musical career even some picture of artist  are shady,  eg in the pag of ciara.
