I think I have a pretty good theory about B9 and it's release, since that is obviously the topic of discussion today.

I am 99.99% sure that Team Britney lied to Iggy. :sipstea:

Why and how?

Iggy said that Britney was not ready to release the single. So then, Iggy said that she was going to release it for herself on her (Iggy's) album. Then Iggy got the call saying Britney wanted it back.

In my opinion, Team Britney did not want Britney to be featured on another's artists album. Yes, Britney has been featured on other albums before (like Rihanna and Miley), however I think they wanted to keep this song for Britney - regardless if she releases an album with it or not. I feel like Iggy is a really hated artist right now (sadly) and Team Britney didn't want Brit's music to be featured on her album. Besides, I don't think that Britney is in the dedicated process of making an album at the moment. Not only did she tell fans she wasn't making an album right now and only wants to release high-quality singles, but she is happy with her kids and Vegas show right now. :mhm:

All I'm saying is... I don't think Team Britney wanted Britney to be featured on another album. :bigtime:

The only way we will get B9 this year is if Pretty Girls is a huge hit. If it is, then Team Britney will quickly throw an album that is like a cheaper version of FF together and release it will DEFINITELY release an album in September or so. :P

That's just my thoughts... B9 will not be happening any time soon and Team Brit didn't want to be featured on another album.

Thoughts???

her team is dumb af if this is the case, they could've said ''we want to keep the song but there's no album coming soon so we'll wait'' and that was it  :4music:

True... but let's be real, her team has never been the best at negotiations or management.

I actually thought that too, it makes sense.

Today has been confusing for this fanbase... but honestly I think this theory makes the most sense all together. :mhm:

Btw, thanks for supporting my thread. :)

That does make sense now that you say it and they quickly said "Britney is ready to release the album" when we all know it's not. :mhm: I just feel like this album might be forced all because Iggy said something.

Also FF is flawless :tbh:

Britney said many times she was working on an album, only Larry said they weren't talking seriously about an album  (which actually means they talked about it btw, just not seriously). When Larry said they weren't talking seriously about an album, i honestly think he meant it in a way that they haven't planned anything concrete yet, like yeah she's recording but they didn't have a schedule, nothing, so they just can't talk seriously about an album at this stage.

But what was said on billboard magazine is from early february and a lot of things can change in this amount of time, like since then, they probably have a clearer global insight, including the album, about what's to come (and i hope, because it would very worrying if just before a first single they don't know where they're going), hence why they would have said to Iggy that Britney is ready for an album. (which doesn't especially mean the album is ready to be released, just that they are now talking about it "seriously" i imagine)

So, what i mean is, no they didn't lie to Iggy. Like, what's the point anyway? Even if they didn't want the collab on Iggy's album (which is probably true) there's absolutely no point to lie and say she's ready with an album and everything, if it's absolutely not true.

If they really wouldn't be considering an album they would have said something like wait no it's ok Britney will release it, we are just focusing on singles for the moment so it's all good. But they won't invent things like yeah she's ready for the album etc..

They are professional for God's sake and Larry is reached out by a lot of people, it's not elementary school. It's not a tv show , you have to stop to read too much into things  :orangu: It can change very fast during the process of an album ya know. It's that simple, i don't know why y'all always HAVE to see lies and conspiracies everywhere.

just so you know, I ADORE Femme Fatale. It's my 2nd (sometimes 1st) favorite Britney album. It's fun and catchy - however, there is no doubt in the fact that it was made for pop radio and critical pop acclaim. :mhm: I'm just saying, if Pretty Girls does well, it is likely that B9 will be a *cheaper* version of FF. :mhm::)

I appreciate your feedback and thoughts, however I still feel like B9 is farther away...

Hold up wait a minute let me put my.2 cents in it !

Ur twisting It around sistah

When Iggy first talked about the Britney collab on tv new years day she had the mentality that britney was ready and it would be for her album

Soon after that she hasnt heard from Britney or her team in a while while.

So when Iggy called them To see if They were still gonna go thru with it ,thats when they told her they werent sure about the album release (this must of happened around the billboard interview in Feb) so thats when Iggy said shell just put it on her album and britney will feat.

A while after that she recieved another call and told her to wait that britney was ready and with the album as well ..they did call rather Late cuz Iggy already did some tweaking To It..the song was never tooken from brit The way u made it seem..

The thing is britneys team recently contacted Iggy & let her know the date of the video shoot and are letting her co direcT and Iggy said they were going back and forth about whose album it was going on.

My point is things can change ..during billboard in feb they werent So sure about the album and now they feel differently...things change Thats what albums and singles go thru as They process they have there.ups and downs

THIS MTE !!! When britneys team told Iggy they werent sure about the album release that must of happened around when they did the BB interview in feb cuz Iggy did say she didnt hear from them in a while..and ur absolutely right things change ..thats the process with albums and singles they go thru obstacles and ups and downs... if britney was just gonna release singles then They would Of simply told Iggy their plan
