Of course not. I love Selena's music (that song is one of my least favorite songs) but that's not a ripoff.

It's a similar case with people who say NTIFY is a Wake Me Up rip off. They're just the same style. It's the same with Soda Pop and Donde quiera que estés, it was a very common music style in the 90's.


I made a thread some weeks ago about a true ripoff of FTBOMBH's chorus:

it sounds kinda similar, however the composition is different in each song, so I wouldn't call it a rip off

just certain bits on the instrumental but not really the melody is not the same the tempo of the singing is not the same nor are the lyrics. Spanish music is forever ruined for me due to growing up watching the eurovison song contest. the music was always crap and cheesy.
