What the hell was this bus thing Britney arrived on? A weird luggage carrier? Some futuristic form of transportation?

I've been asking myself this question for eleven years......

Oh, and something like this should have been the cover of "Life is a Beach". :omg1:

:ummlol: The show would have been better if they either would have done the hotel idea right..... or not at all.

I like the ABC concert event atmosphere better, it looked more mature.

and these types of things, heck even for POM

I agree. The ABC special venue (Gotham Hall) was really beautiful and I watch that show more than I do the tour. The ITZ promo performances were more enjoyable overall. :uhhuh:

And I wish the POM stage looked a little more elegant like that.

The Onyx Hotel tour was really weird to be honest. I mean, Britney as a performer was on top of her game, but the stage, the production... Everything felt weird at times. Even the live band and the backing singers were kinda off! I think they were trying to give the songs a jazzy feel, but I don't think it worked (Apart from those cabaret remixes they did to Baby, Oops and Crazy).

Ikr? Thank goodness for Britney being so amazing at the time. Because the show itself was just.....weird. :orly:

I find the show just plain boring, yes she danced her butt off but it didn't blur away the blandness of the show especially after having the Dream Within A Dream tour

:tbh: True. Brit was awesome (her alone makes the show one of my faves) but she wasn't enough to make the show look as good as DWAD or Circus. For one, I think the live band they had made the music sound watered-down except for during the cabaret section, in which that raw sound made sense.

I just watched the full Miami show today, what an amazing show. I agree somewhat with what you guys are saying about the design being a little weird, but honestly the overall show makes up for any design flaws. I love how it's a journey through this weird hotel from the Lobby, Cabaret, Garden, etc. She really went there during "Touch Of My Hand" and "Breathe On Me" as well, very sexy performances. I so wish I could have seen it live for myself.  :displeased:

I would have gone but Britney broke her knee before she came to my state. :(

And I was 10 at the time. Too young to be watching her and a dancer simulate sex on stage. :ummlol:

I actually had tickets to go on July 31st, 2004 on my birthday, but it was apart of the cancelled shows of course. :(

LOL about being too young, yeah 10 is pretty young to attend the Onyx Tour. Btw, didn't they have an age restriction on the show?

Idk. I guess I would have found out when I showed up at the arena and was then told to go home. :orangu:

I like the casual look but I feel like Britney can def pull off a dope piece/costume without it usually always looking crazy :/...I feel like if shes gonna wear leotards its gotta be like this $_35.JPGnormal_circus_281229.jpg

(But more elaborate & w/ a touch of Britney's style & design)...But yeah I def agree with you idea of her casual style on stage
