Blackout Era Will Forever Be Iconic

100 facts...those that don't agree so be it, but there is a REASON Blackout the ALBUM has ALWAYS been talked about and was still successful given her state during the time #2 (after alteration of the Billboard rules). And every song was amazing point blank period!

We all know what a masterpiece Blackout is, but let's be real the actual era was a complete mess. Britney was probably in the darkest period of her life. However, in a way, the era being a complete mess sort of goes along with the theme of the album. I also think Britney has always found a refuge in the music. She went into the studio and told us exactly how she felt and what she was going through, in a nutshell basically.

there wasnt even an "era", lol. i wish yall wouldnt glorify that time, its iconic but not for good reason, and im sure she doesnt look back on it positively.

That era is iconic but for the wrong reasons... You could tell she was lost and really didn't know where to go, but I agree on the fact that the album was an accurate description of Britney at the moment: Dark, angry and confused. I hope she never goes through the same stuff again!
