Also, according to PopSugar: "Pop legend, Britney Spears is finally back with new music and invited newcomer, Iggy Azalea to join in on the fun. Pop's blonde duo started the first of a two day filming schedule today in LA. Its apparent that the styling has been inspired by the 80's but insider tells us that Britney wanted to pay homage to one of her favorite films, "Romy and Michele's High School Reunion". Britney loved Iggy's take on "Clueless" for her "Fancy" video and thought they'd be perfect to take on the roles of Romy and Michele. There will even be a dance break that will feature Britney reenacting that infamous threesome dance with surprise guest Alan Cummings."

I believe so I really hope this is true! I'm gonna rewatch the movie tonight because it's been so long!

There's no way we are getting Fierceney in an 80s theme, it's not Work Bitch. The video is clearly meant to be jokey and fun. Hence the pink blowdryer and stuff.

Because it's a 80's doesn't mean it can't be fierce. They could easily do it fierce like Do Somethin' kind of fierceness/fun, it doesn't have to be "dumb". Seriously, i'm not here for what popsugar described i was excited yesterday, now this is ruining my excitement.

I haven't watched that movie so I don't know how to feel about THAT dance scene, since it's a bit hilarious. If the video's gonna be a fun one, then I'm in for remaking it but if it's something "urban", then a new dance routine would be great. Is that movie good, though, because it seems to be a late 80's or early 90's movie and I don't watch that kind of movies?

The movie is very funny and has a lot of moments that can be used for a music video. Kind of like a mix of Clueless and Mean Girls but with a 80s/90s style.

I've never seen this movie either but read a lot of people making the comparison before this "confirmation" that it is a homage. I remember reading about Alan Cummings being a big Britney stan years ago.   Looking to see how this turns out.

I love that scene so much and that song is just, EVERYTHING . One of my faves its so sad, Britney could actually sing it amazingly well if she wanted it. Ashley Tisdale did an AMAZING cover of that song. She put so much emotion in it you can tell Idk why but the song makes me SO sad.
