Britney fits perfect with urban music tbh

Some people just don't like urban music, you can't force them to like something they don't  because you like it.

And imo, although so far i like the song, Britney's voice fits better with rock/jazzy music.

I agree, I love almost every song or cover by her that has rock music influences

Hopefully her next album will have some great gems in this type of music, even Britney herself wanted to go more pop-rock if I remember from the intimate collection era interview :)

Well, I love some of her urban stuff, however the single doesn't seem to be in my type. I fell in love with Britney because of her pop smash hits such as Stronger or Everytime, not Outrageous.

It's hard to tell if I like Pretty Girls or not at all, because it's to early for such a decision and we only got like a couple second snippets, however from what we could hear, I have a strong feeling I won't like it and I'm not gonna force myself to like a track that doesn't make any impression on me. There were lots of people who did not like Work Bitch before its premiere as well, no need to hate anyone for having a different taste. You'll never find a second person that enjoys everything as much as you do.

i like that it gives me the blackout, outrageousney vibes but it's so much like femme fatale (which is the album i dont wanna hear atm)... i do not like all that autotune and would preffer urban sound over electric dancing one but it sounds all right.

no offence but those who expected Britney not to use auto-tune are stanning for the wrong popstar. Like honestly? That's your main concern? Britney has been using autotune to the extreme for the past 4 years so do not expect a sudden change, especially not from a summer bop like this.

The song sounds great and I couldn't give two fucks about autotune. I don't stan Britney Spears for amazing vocals. If any of you are then you're delusional.

In The Zone have a lot of autotune (Brave New Girl or Touch Of My Hand) and is one of the favorite albums by the fans :mhm:

They are never satisfied :orangu:

that's not autotune though :orangu:

the autotune started getting more obvious during Blackout but it's been happening forever

What is it? :omg1:

it's definitely a voice effect enhancement but just because it sounds electronic it's not necessarily autotune, there's tons of voice effects plug ins

autotune is used to correct pitch while recording and it gives it an electronic effect due to the correction

I agree.  Her voice -- her signature sweet, baby coo -- is definitely treated and always has been, but in "Pretty Girls" she is giving it.  She sounds like a straight up boss in that chorus, she almost sounds like she is rapping it instead of singing.
