Madonna crashed the Coachella stage on Sunday night, surprising the tens of thousands of festivalgoers there to watch Drake’s headlining set. But it was Drake himself who looked the most baffled when Madonna, during an odd performance of “Human Nature,†bent over and made out with the Canadian rapper.

“What the f— just happened?†he laughed after the kiss.

“I’m Madonna, bitch,†the 56 year-old mumbled before exiting the stage.

It was the pop star’s first appearance at Coachella in 2006 when she performed several hits in the Sahara tent.

 Britney is a trend-setter and still is unlike Madonna. Madonna cares too much about being hip and relevant which means following trends. I think we can predict that after Madonna sees the Pretty Girl music video, she will release "Bitch, I'm Madonna" as a single(which features Nicki Minaj) and do a similar video.

I disagree. How is Britney still a trend-setter? She releases a single which probably sounds like a typical Iggy song, also, her two latest albums (Femme Fatale & Britney Jean) weren't anything original, really. Both sounded like everything on the radio the time they have been released. How is it called trend setting to you?... 

 

I adore Britney's music and would love to find something fresh, experimental and original in her new stuff but let's be honest - she's not making new trends either, she pretty much follows them as Madonna.

Madonna is honestly disgusting to me. Some of her earliest songs are good, but anything recent is kinda...

It's sad that she can't get headlines through her music so she resorts to these kind of childish gimmicks. Britney is much more talented and though still controversial, never had to do these things to keep her career strong. She filmed a MV the other day and got tons of headlines without making out with someone random.

Hold It Against Me was one of the first songs to really bring dubstep into the mainstream and after it was released everyone was doing dubstep breakdowns (including Madonna's first single from MDNA). And also Britney has made Vegas residencies the cool new thing for artists to do. She still does things that influence or impact pop music/culture today, Madonna hasn't done that in a while. (I love the Ghosttown song though, I think it deserves to be a hit.)

Madonna is destroying her legacy pulling these desperate stunts. Drake is almost 30 years younger than her, it's just not okay especially since it was not planned. I felt sick when I watched it. She's a disaster, this era is a mess. and she thinks she's such a hit because of all this crap but really it is just annoying. Britney would never be so crass and seems to embrace her age, where Madonna has had an ongoing midlife crisis since the 90s. The difference with the Britney kiss was that it was planned, consensual, went with the theme of the performance but was also just very shocking even though it was only 12 years ago, times have changed and repeated stunts are pathetic
