I don't  :lmaolol:

It's such an amazing feeling :crying1: Thirst for new music is about to end :crying4:

bless yo soul :spearitualney:

and I know! :crying2: PG and TD are so close together, ugh, and they're such quality songs too. We are so blessed :Godney:

although lbr here, the BArmy thirst for new music will never end. Brit could drop an album today, and we'd dissect it, psychoanalyze all the wrong parts about it, and 2 weeks later, be over it and beg for demos/unreleased tracks/the 2nd Coming of Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ/snippets/news on when a new album will come out :tbh:

ahh dahling ILY2!! :bffs:

and to be honest, after seeing the projects Brit's pursuing now, I'm really hoping her team learned a few lessons from BJ and are learning from them. Also, can we recognize Brit's level of artistry for plucking and reviving a forgotten early 90s cover of an 80s folk hit? ugh, I wish she'd show more of this side of her :crying1:

even Pitchfork is catching the TD hype (meaning the indiesphere is also gon be aware of its release):

Giorgio Moroder has detailed his first album in 30 years. Déjà Vu features quite the guest list: Kylie Minogue, Charli XCX, Sia, Kelis, and many more make appearances. Plus, Moroder enlists Britney Spears for a cover of Suzanne Vega's "Tom's Diner"(!)

THE EXCLAMATION POINT IS IN THE ACTUAL ARTICLE :orangu::gloria: :gloria: Brit has the chance to dazzle and impress those who wrote her off years ago, and she's at the stage of her career to do so. The music establishment is finally recognizing that she's been slaying the game for 15 years now and deserves credit, but equally so, Brit should supply new material to match this burgeoning new-found respect. PG & TD are a great start!!

ikr? :crying1:

When I heard "Britney's doing a cover" I was like "Oh it's not something new at all tbh :/" but Britney made the song SOOO different and fresh that I'm deeply slayed! I hope that GP will appreciate it too :crying1:

personally more excited for PG to drop cuz I need that summer smasha in my life. Not bashin TD, but it really does have ISBE vocals; hopefully, when the whole song is presented, the vocoded vocals will add to the atmosphere like in Unusual You, instead of take away from it like ISBE.

I kinda hope/expect that a rawer version of TD leaks where Brinny's vocals aren't treated so much. I don't blame the vocoding since it is Giorgio's electronic album. Also, pre-empting the rebuttal that it's glossing over a lack of vocal skill, consider that the last album Giorgio was involved in, Daft Punk's RAM, also had a rather controversial vocoding moment when they vocoded Julian Casablancas' (the talented lead singer of The Strokes) amazing voice. Here's the song:

his actual voice:

which sounds pretty much like the treatment they gave Brit's vocals. It's art. Don't have a fuckin meltdown y'all :qtb:

I said this in another post. Great songs!
