Britney gave us sexy lingerie and hot photoshoots!

Now she just need's to ad some boxers and socks and we can make this the best selling line ever!

During this past era we also got a new hit residency in Las Vegas.

Britney is the youngest person ever to have her own show there!

I know there is way more thing to mention... But I just want to say, thank you Britney, I can't wait to see what's next!

These past two years have given us so many good things! It may not have been her most succesful era and we could complain about many things, but now that a new (and apparently better) one is almost here we should just remember the good stuff :)

Omg at you completely ignoring Perfume's existence :orangu: good, lets pretend it was never created :gloria: maybe that way GP will forget it too :orangu: if they even heard of it in the first place :moorangu:

Britney Jean isn't my favorite album but I genuinely enjoy it I like it alot. But now days because it reminds me of when I was rear ended by a semi truck. I was chillin at the red light waiting for it to turn green and a semi just hits me as Tik Tik Boom was playing. But work bitch has grown to become my favorite song/video of her. And I still play the album quite a bit only song I skip is Chillin.

( :orangu: at this mess of a post I made)

I like Perfume but I had ONE friend that heard the song. He works overnights and he heard it 2 days in a row at like 3am. He said "hey did you know there's a new Britney song? It's slow and I heard it on the radio" those are the only times I knew of Perfume ever being played on radio :orangu:

Haha no I did not forget about it, but with all the drama around the video and everything I left it out cause I wanted it to be a positive thread :)

I thoroughly enjoyed the entire Britney Jean era, despite it's faults. Good music, good videos, good interviews, good show. I couldn't ask for more, and am so excited to see where this new one is going to take us.

I completely agree. :) imo, if BJ was a smash hit, everyone would love it. BJ had an okay era... it was sweet in the beginning, but very short and ended badly. But, POM and Intimate gave us new things to be excited for.

Personally, my fave part of this past era was Exhale flopping hard. If that wouldn't have happened, I wouldn't have found the best Britney site ever and joined here. :D also, it was nice to finally see Jordan's true colors. :4music: what a flop.

BJ was a good album... Alien, Work, and Hold On Tight are very solid. The rest of the album was okay. A couple songs I dislike, but it's not as bad as fans make it out to be. Just because it flopped doesn't mean it wasn't personal to Brit or an okay album. The only thing I dislike is the packaging and album cover. :eeek: but the booklet was cool!!

I'm just glad will.i.am is gone! I dislike EDM and that is what killed BJ imo. :mhm:

I think this past era was more for Britney then anyone else. As much as some ppl hated it what it gave us was seeing Britney slowly yet surely get the old energy back that made her who she is today. She hasnt been this focused, consistant and passionate in a long time. It makes me very proud and so i guess the last era was more of a resurrection than anything else.

BJ was more of a transitional era. I think a lot of what she did in that era will lay the ground work for the next eras. Unlike Circus and Femme Fatale, I feel like she was far more engaged in the material. She perked up a bit in the interviews, she genuinely has looked happy in most of the candids since the era started. Her performance skills are almost back to where they used to be in the past. The album itself was actually pretty solid in terms of writing and content and when the producers didn't overly maniupulate her vocals or rely on the backing singers, her vocals were the strongest they've been since the second and third albums. I'm hopeful for the next album whenever it comes. My guess is that the aim of the new material will be to fun and danceable but with more depth and more maturity without being too serious. She'll probably work with producers and writers who she hasn't worked with before and so on. I think BJ left room for her to approach this differently because it did get some praise but at the smsame time failed, so there's nothing to live up to now. Her past work as good as it was, is now dated so she's probably not expected to repeat that but since BJ was largely ignored without too much negative press and the music business being in flux, she can restart without too much pressure because everything is basically new again. We'll see what happens.

Thankfully I wasn't injured but scary for sure. Have you ever played the beginning of Tik Tik Boom really loud unexpectedly? It sounds scary to me like the very first synth that play in the intro, every time it starts now :orangu:
