TyWalker Posted April 29, 2015 #1 Report Posted April 29, 2015 I know it's not Britney related, but this is at least of important nature. Is anyone in Baltimore? With all the rioting going on... I'm a Marylander born and raised, and Bmore is about 30 minutes from me, I just wanted to see if any of you were there, and if you are doing ok... It's making National News and Ray Lewis made a video aimed at the violent rioters/looters... it'd be interesting to see another big star like Britney tweet prayers and support
Guest QueenJocasta Posted April 29, 2015 #2 Report Posted April 29, 2015 I live in Canada. we're peaceful as fuck because everyone is stoned
HeadstrongWolf Posted April 29, 2015 #3 Report Posted April 29, 2015 I appreciate your concern, but this needs to be moved to the General section. As you said, it's not Britney related.
killthelights Posted April 29, 2015 #4 Report Posted April 29, 2015 I went to school in Baltimore four years. I'm there every other week or so it's closeby and my sister and niece live there (Catonsville) Very chaotic, my sis had an interview in Camden yards and it had to be rescheduled.
killthelights Posted April 29, 2015 #5 Report Posted April 29, 2015 By school I mean college lol. I did a lot of volunteer work in the city at the schools. Poor kids, there is no funding in those schools, no programs, they're just left to roam on the streets without having opportunity like so many others do
Sirdylanmerlot Posted April 29, 2015 #6 Report Posted April 29, 2015 Where I was born💚 it's sad what's going on, but it's still a wonderful city with a lot of history. I'm im Florida now, but have family and friends in Baltimore.
Everytime Posted April 29, 2015 #7 Report Posted April 29, 2015 I've been in that area before, but I don't live anywhere near there. I hope it ends soon. Although I disagree with the protests, people have the right to share their opinion... but this is not the correct way to do so. If anyone is there, stay safe.
Everytime Posted April 29, 2015 #8 Report Posted April 29, 2015 LOL and did anyone see that kid get beat by his mom for protesting?
killthelights Posted May 7, 2015 #9 Report Posted May 7, 2015 Where I was born💚 it's sad what's going on, but it's still a wonderful city with a lot of history. I'm im Florida now, but have family and friends in Baltimore. It really is a great city and very unique. I think it's highly underrated and I am sad how people see it now. I hope the attention turns to positive to help the low income communities
