Today Glu Mobile Inc., a leading global developer and publisher of free-to-play games for smartphone and tablet devices, today announced that the company will partner with Britney Spears on the development of a new mobile game, OMG! Check out below what they have in stores for the world:

The exclusive agreement spans a five-year term with the possibility of a three-year extension. Featuring the voice, likeness, and creative influence of Ms. Spears, the game will allow players to interact with Britney and experience the glitz and glamour of the entertainment business. Glu expects to launch the game worldwide in the first half of 2016.

Since her debut nearly 17 years ago, Britney Spears has established herself as one of the music industry’s most celebrated icons. To date, she’s sold over 100 million albums worldwide and has been recognized with numerous industry accolades including a Grammy Award, six MTV Video Music Awards, seven MTV Europe Music Awards, an American Music Award, nine Billboard Music Awards, five Teen Choice Awards, and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. For the past two years, Britney Spears has performed as the resident headliner at Planet Hollywood’s Axis Theater in Las Vegas. Voted Las Vegas’ ‘Best Overall Show’ in 2015, Spears’ critically acclaimed “Piece of Me” show exemplifies her sustained star power, selling out multiple shows per week.

Glu will provide additional details on the game’s development and Britney Spears’ involvement at a later date. With the addition of Britney Spears, Glu’s celebrity gaming platform is now supported by more than 400 million** total social followers.
