I like the vocoder effect tbh. I'd prefer it toned down a bit so we can hear the main vocal clearer but I don't want it removed completely.

while I appreciate hearing her raw vocals, I prefer the already-leaked version. It's not a particularly demanding song vocally (so the wow factor isn't as high; I kinda expect Britney to be able to deliver this), the Britney/vocoded BG pairing makes the song more compelling and accentuates its alienating and voyeuristic atmosphere, and the driving instrumental of the leaked version is superior to the rather turgid synthestra in the snippet. While I wouldn't mind it leaking (I'd love to hear more of Rawney with that funk bassline! ), I'm more than satisfied with what exists.

Omg I'm so glad I'm not the only one who prefers the leaked version! Sure, hearing Britney's raw vocals is always great but the effects that they put on her voice are what make the song so atmospheric and special!

I am pretty sure the leaked version is the one on the album and that this is either the demo OR an alternative version that they're planning to release along with the one we already got. Could you guys imagine that? Kind of like Perfume, who got two versions!

I think it's been said a few times already. The version Unbrokeney leaked is taken straight from iTunes and it's official, he just cut a few seconds. So if they didn't change anything the leaked version will be released.

That clip doesn't even sound final - I don't know why people are thinking that might be the album version. The vocals aren't mixed that well and it all just sounds very demo-ish or a remix. Plus the version we have is so much better...

I think it's the other way around. This is the demo of the version we have. Moroder said in that yahoo interview Britney's vocals on the song were very raw and that he still had to meet with her to finish the song. So that would explain why Muumuse's version doesn't have the autotuned background vocals.
