There's more than "just a bit" on the verses, those vocals do not sound natural at all. The most natural part of PG are her adlibs.Actually theres a difference between autotune and melodyne ... Autotune messes with the overall vocals & has a robotic effect .. While melodyne simply detects a pitchy note and polishes it and doesnt effect the overall vocals like autotune does and it doesnt have that robotic effect .. U should look it up FF era definitely was autotuned and some of bj was as well .. 1

Either way if she brings it in terms of dancing and attitude I don't think the GP will care. Everyone knows that she lip syncs.
JhoNey Posted May 3, 2015 #37 Report Posted May 3, 2015 Passenger is much easier too sing sorry,but it's really not,passenger requires a lot of "breath" to sing,you have to have a really good control of your vocals so it doesn't crack. At first it's a really easy song,but when you stop to analyze(and try to sing along) you see it takes some effort PG,britney can at least sing the verses,I don't know why they always Over produce her vocals,it's annoying 2

The actual gp won't even try to figure out whether she sings live or not... ALSO...IT'S BEEN 17 YEARS...LET THE LIVE SINGING DIE ALREADY... I hope she pre-records vocals tbh, i'm not asking her to sing live but she must have pre-recorded vocals seriously, it would be just ridiculous if Iggy is live while Britney lipsyncs over cd vocals. I dont detect autotune at all whatsoever ..The chorus sounds like the real deal .. I do detect that there is just a bit of melodyne in Britneys verses but just a bitTheres definitely no autotune detected in PG Her voice is edited as fuck on the verses tho, it's not natural at all. Listen to "3" just after PG verse, PG is as pitched as 3 tbh, and y'all say she has a chipmunk voice on 3 so, yeah... I'm not shading the song tho, i don't care honestly because i can recognize her voice unlike some songs on BJ, but it IS autotuned.

That's what Britney would say The fact that she is making new music and a brand new album makes my heart beat faster and I'm a patient fan so I'm just going to wait and see 1

Not to mention, after Iggy's tweet about her singing in the chorus and how it'll be more obvious live, that must mean Iggy is doing live vocals so I hope they do at least pre-recorded vocals because I don't want complaints about "oh Iggy was singing live why wasn't Britney?!" from the GP and I can see this being a mess otherwise.

U should look it up FF era definitely was autotuned and some of bj was as well .. I've used both of them, and they can both do the same thing. Melodyne is more manual and fine tuned but you can use manual controls with Autotune too, it doesn't have to be over the top robotic. BJ has a lot of autotune, especially songs like Alien. I can make the raw vocals sound identical to the album version with a basic Autotune profile.

Her team better have them "live" vocals prepared, they've had enough time, because it will look super awkward with Britney lip-syching to studio enhanced vocals with someone on stage that is not. Nowadays that is just unacceptable and it could potentially kill the momentum for "Pretty Girls," turning into a PR nightmare. As happy as I am she's performing, I'm equally as anxious. I want her to pull this off and garner praise. 1
