The song didn't sound the way i imagined it to sound like. But a few more listens and what i found intriguing about the song is that for the first time in a long time, you hear Britney having FUN! I know thats weird, how can she sound like she's having fun? When thinking of tracks like " Oops, I Did It Again", " Baby One More Time" and "Toxic", you hear the energy in her voice. You hear in her voice that this was what she wanted to do and was not something simply given to her record. Iggy Azalea actually does earn her credit as a duet partner because the song does have her and Britney together. Sure, Britney may sing 80% but she isn't background like other featured singers. She makes the partner ship known from start to finish. One problem, Iggy should know the "Fancy" comparisons aren't gonna stop. All in all, I don't know if we have a hit on our hand or not, time and the great efforts of the B-Army will tell. But no matter what, Everyone needs to cherish this moment. For the first time, in a VERY long time, Our girl Britney is having the time of her life. She is more radiant, alive and most importantly, in the moment then ever before. If the GP doesn't take to it right away, it doesn't matter. Pretty Girls has one major purpose and that is to remind people " Don't count Britney out, Bitch! She is still here, and ain't going down without a fight. Why, cause she just soooo prettay!" 4
