So I run the official Britney Spears fanpage here in Sweden and work with Sony Music and I was talking to a woman who is Britney's "spokeswoman" or how you say it, here in Sweden. And sadly... She said there wont be a CD single of Pretty Girls   hate to break this you y'all. But I wanted to give you an update

If it was a promo single, they wouldn't do all this promo just for a "promo single", the point of a promo single is to not promote it because it serves as promo by itself for something else. I mean, radio interviews, music video, uber promo, ellen appearance, performance.. and there's probably more to come. A promo single usually gets nothing, sometimes not even a music video, so no.

Promo single can also be featured on her next album.Iggy was told it's Britney's first single because at that time she wanted PG to be the first single of her own album, but Team B didn't want her to do that.

Britney lost a lot of fans during BJ era.She needs to go full force this time to earn attention back, no matter what costs, much money(for ads, for radio payola etc), many interviews, and maybe not only one performance.

A promo single usually gets nothing, that's correct, but a first single usually has physical CDs as well, in this case, there won't be a physical CD of PG, that's weird.But promo singles usually don't have physical CDs.

There's always some exception.Usually artists shoot music videos one by one, but Beyonce released 17 music videos altogether for her 5th album.

Anything could happen.
