FUDGE Posted May 5, 2015 #1 Report Posted May 5, 2015 The POM show scheduled for Wednesday 6th May-her first show back since she injured her ankle- has had to be rescheduled. A Caesars rep confirmed that 'The Doctor has advised her not to perform Wednesday evening so that she may continue to heal from an ankle injury sustained during her performance last week.' Brit spoke about the injury on Ellen today: "Well, I actually wasn't doing anything that hard. I was just kind of bopping around. And I've done like eight years worth of shows. Plenty of shows! And I've never actually fell onstage, so it was really kind of embarrassing. But yeah, I fell down and I got up, and my dancers kind of guided me to keep going." I don't think we have to worry about the BBMAs though because as Brit said : 'The show must go on' 1
heather Posted May 5, 2015 #2 Report Posted May 5, 2015 The more rest the better, she's still in that boot and seeing her on the beach without it and how big the knot on her ankle was, she definitely needs to rest. Hopefully she'll be good to go by Friday, noticed you can still purchase tickets for that date.
I_need_me Posted May 5, 2015 #3 Report Posted May 5, 2015 As long as she is recovered by the time the BBMA's come I'll be ok with this, but I'm getting worried tho, how will the performance be? 2
edurance Posted May 5, 2015 #4 Report Posted May 5, 2015 Worst case scenario: she'll perform at the BBMA while being carried around. No dancing
TheOriginalDollz Posted May 5, 2015 #5 Report Posted May 5, 2015 get your rest Britney , godspeed we love yew! 1
Caroline77 Posted May 5, 2015 #6 Report Posted May 5, 2015 Worst case scenario: she'll perform at the BBMA while being carried around. No dancing Hence that tweet then But honestly, it's fine. It's ok if she doesn't really dance, what i really want is an amazing looking performance and fierce attitude tbh, it doesn't especially require a choreo for that (even though it would be great to see her slay some dance moves ). If she doesn't dance i REALLY hope she at least pre-record the song tho. 1
Nightmare3P Posted May 5, 2015 #7 Report Posted May 5, 2015 They need to make a custom wheelchair that looks like a jeep and have it run with a motor and have iggy hop on the back and britney does some fierce hair flips and share armography and then britney stands up during the last chorus and surprises everyone and kills the choreo we saw on the preview 1

Swimming In The Stars Posted May 5, 2015 #9 Report Posted May 5, 2015 I'm supposed to see her next Wednesday. Getting nervous. Get well soon Britney!
Tonny_with_a_T Posted May 6, 2015 #10 Report Posted May 6, 2015 I'm supposed to see her next Wednesday. Getting nervous. Get well soon Britney! Me too! But I'm willing to give up the show for a great BBMA performance. I have seen it 8 times now, and probably going back September. But of course I want to see her next week too...

If she's not going to dance I hope they pre-record her vocals and turn on her mic so she can say "wow" and stuff like that. I know her most iconic performances are lip-synced and that she's never needed to sing live, but this award show appearance needs to be as perfect as possible, so if she's not going to dance hard (which would be understandable if she's not fully recovered) she should at least give the song a live feeling. She can perfectly slay a performance without dancing that much (VMA's 2000), she just needs a couple of dance moves there and there, a fierce attitude and in this case some fun interaction with Iggy! I just hope we don't get a TTWE ft Nicki 2.0

Yeah, you're right, it's not about how hard the choreography is, but how good the dance moves look and how much attitude she puts into them!

I have seen it 8 times now, and probably going back September. But of course I want to see her next week too... I've seen it 4 times and will also see it in Sept, Oct, or November. My plane ticket is already bought so I really hope a miracle happens and she can perform. I'm just flying up on Wednesday afternoon and right back to Phoenix on Thursday morning. Only going for Brit.

Eeek. At least that's not too far. I'm coming from east coast... So it's a 5+hr flight for me. Also doing Rock In Rio Fri/Sat, and Mariah....Those tickets ended up being purchased after lots of alcohol and boredom with my friend I'm going with. 1
