People will ALWAYS bash Britney's shyness and blame it on her being "mentally unstable" and bullshit like that. But many people really appreciate how she turned her life around and we should concentrate on the positive comments. And for the mixed reception from the general public, people either love the song or hate it. Everyone agrees it's extremely catchy so hopefully they will give in eventually. Most contemporary critics gave quite positive reviews anyway.

She sounds way more natural and it's like a throwback to old school Britney.
