heather Posted May 8, 2015 #26 Report Posted May 8, 2015 Ive been thru this before & my doctor told my all the levels .. I had a grade II i didnt get back on the soccer field for 4 weeks .. If Her Dr is giving her the ok to perform just after a week means that she had a grade I , grade I is a minor fracture to the ankle bone and or a slight tear in the ligaments .. Which can be healed quickly after a few days depending on how properly its being treated (R.I.C.E) so it wasnt that bad for her .. Of course for the first few shows she will definitely be cautious just to be careful but shell be fine.. I mean in ur case u roled ur ankle a few times and might of caused some damage but u cant compare it to Britneys case cuz its her first time You have no idea what I've done to my ankles or what advice I was given through my doctors. I'm applying my own experience with sprained ankles to what happened to Britney. I've said many times through this thread that FROM MY EXPERIENCE it's never been back to 100% it could be entirely different for Britney, or she could, like me, never have her ankle 100 again. Yes she will be cautious the first couple of shows. I'd expect nothing less. And just because her doctor has given her the ok to perform, doesn't mean she's completely healed either. 1
Britnoy Posted May 8, 2015 #27 Report Posted May 8, 2015 Yes !!! These are great !! These wedged sneakers would go great with her work b & toxic outfit They should be pure black that way it can go perfectly There's available some similar in only black: Giuseppe Zanotti sneakers are pure perfection. Other artists are wearing them for stage and they look pretty amazing to dance.
Dance Posted May 8, 2015 #28 Report Posted May 8, 2015 why wouldn't shouldn't she be able to wear heels after her ankle is 100% healed? it's not 100% healed tho, I've sprained both of my ancles, ur recovery depends on how much u fucked it up. Some people stretch/tear out their ligaments completely, and thats painful as fuck, usually takes months to recover 100% . However I think Britney's injury is similar to mine, she just twisted it in a very weird way. If its anything like mine, after 3-4 days shes able to walk, but it ll take a bit over a month to be 100% healed and reliable and maybe a few more weeks for her to feel free to rely on it properly. It's a very sensitive thing trust me. 1

Except I didnt do it a few times , if britneys ankle wasnt fully healed she wouldnt be performing especially being a hardcore dancer and all that spinning that she does , when u hurt ur ankle ur suppose to do the RICE treatmeamt for atleast a few days .. 4 days after Britneys injury she was back on her feet and going to soccer games , her moms party, lunch & dinner w/ charlie, the gym , play football with her kids without her boot.. Shes fine now .. They just took her boot off yesterday and shes already gonna be back at it tonight .. Shes definitely good .. I do get what ur saying tho but rolling ur ankles a few times now that is alot of damage .. Rolling the ankles a few times can definitely weaken the ligaments

My doctor told me it depends on the damage or what level its on .. If its a slight tear to the ligament and no damage or minor damage to the bone it can actually heal within a week ... Since mine was grade II it took 4 weeks to heal
ooh la la Posted May 8, 2015 #31 Report Posted May 8, 2015 ballroom dancers wear heals and they have to do quick foot movements and irish dancers wear hard heals.
RevolvingBritney Posted May 8, 2015 #32 Report Posted May 8, 2015 Those clunky boots need to go. She needs sneakers, or sneaker-wedges

But, my point is she should still be able to wear heels again some time in vegas unless she permanently damaged it. Whether you're wearing heels, sneakers, ballet slippers, jazz shoes as a dancer it's very likely to happen. I've had a lot of neck, knee, and ankle injuries some from dancing, some not. But sometimes I've also pushed myself harder than what I should when I'm injured She'll be fine
Ms.Spearson Posted May 8, 2015 #34 Report Posted May 8, 2015 good luck to her. im sure she'll be very cautious but i hope it doesn't affect her energy on stage
