The song has been reviewed very well by music critics, the only knock is that it sounds too similar to "Fancy" in some ways.  I agree with Shazam, PG is def one of her more immediate tracks in a long while.

you think we will snatch that #1 ? :bomt:

Y'know... I'm actually looking forward to seeing how this will play out.  PG was produced specifically to become a summer hit and has all the right ingredients (I'm hooked).  But her singles, aside from a few, have been starting out very slowly, then become hits.  If all goes according to plan with the music video and live performance, I think it will help the song and stabilize it for a good while.  I'm thinking a strong top 5 hit there aren't many female-driven, sassy songs dominating right now.  Most are centered around females dropping, twerking, slapping and being a "Trap Queen."  If it becomes a hit it will be a contrast to what's on radio.

(Listening to "Scream & Shout" now, I can't believe that song became a smash.  :umomg:)

you're right, PG really is a gem between all this twerking, call me your bitch and slut and fuck me in my asshole, mess :drown: PG is literally the only normal song atm :tbh: and omg i know about S&S , i still think that song is a piece of shit :orangu: i never liked it, its literally my least fave, even less than perfume :gloria: i have no idea how it became sucha huge hit, proves how GP idiotic is tbh

Listening to the radio turns me into a feminist, I literally can't with what is dominating radio atm.  Aside from "See You Again" (which is now annoying), and a select few, all of the current songs on power rotation make me roll my eyes.  All of them are inescapable.

I remembering thinking S&S was "cute" when I first heard it, but wouldn't have been surprised if it flopped hard.  It debuted around Thanksgiving then after the New Year just starting smashing. The hell.  :zoomzoom:

its quite disgusting :tbh: And nicki, bleach and jlo are the leaders of it all, they keep degrading women in their songs and music videos, awful tbh.

Hyper sexual singles by lead female artists didn't do all that well now that you mentioned this... Katy Perry's "Birthday," Beyoncé's "Partition," J.Lo's "Booty," etc, all didn't do well.  "Anaconda" didn't do well initially but smashed and went viral after the video... I think PG will follow suit.  :yeathatswhatsup:
