The U.S. position will be the final nail in the coffin.

Rihanna, before this release, had the most hype of any artist..

her first single debuted at #54 and went on to peak at #4

the debut doesn't fucking matter, the longevity and peak do

I can't at idiot fans already calling this song a flop. IT WAS JUST RELEASED AND HASN'T EVEN DEBUTTED YET.

The fact billboard thinks Top 40 is an amazing debut for the song - and they are actually the ones who know what the fuck they are talking about - is amazing, and makes the opinions of Britney army all that more irrelevant.

The debut of a song does not matter, unless it debuts Top 10 or #1 since it's so hard to do these days, it's about the longevity and it's final peak. Some of you, just like exhell, act like you know what defines a songs success when the majority of you are too stupid to even realize it.

I'm so sick of fans already giving up on the song after a week. Those are not true fans.

BTW, Pretty Girls is off to an amazing start on Radio & Streaming, and the music video & BBMA performance is going to solidify that this song will be everywhere this summer!

These are debut positions, not peaks, you fucking idiot.

Womanizer debuted at #96, and shot to #1 the next week, so shut the fuck up.

Rihanna or even Britney back in the day had the digital sales needed to score a hit. Britney doesn't have it anymore. If Work Bitch's peak position was its debut (and may I remind you, that song was doing a lot better than this mess of a song) then Pretty Girls is doomed.

And God, stop acting like Pretty Girls is Womanizer. That was a different fucking case. The song set the record at the time for the highest first week sales so duh it shot to #1. Pretty Girls is struggling to get 100K.

About the music video, her team is so dumb they still haven't even properly acknowledged it. Who even knows if it's still coming tomorrow? it's not like they tweeted anything.

sis why are you such an illogical cunt tho? You're acting like debut numbers mean anything... they don't.

It's about longevity. maybe you're right and PG won't do well long-term, but we don't know that yet, we still have an MV and performance to come.

how do you get off on being a miserable dick on a forum? do you hate yourself that much?

I'm ashamed to be from the same country as you! tumblr_lnwbrz1crY1qcozo3o1_500.gif Go join Isis or something...

You're from the UK? OMG! Hit me up when you're nearby London so we can grab a coffee or a bite and chat about how badly Pretty Girls is doing! :)

Guys, do you really care about charts? I mean come one i dont think Britney be like "omg larry, i peak 2 on iTunes, im a flop, here is my resignation letter i quit"

Just enjoy the music she is giving us and forget about what basic people say

Britney probably not, although she obviously cares a little since it's her music. But her team and her label obviously cares about it. And we also have to care about it a little, unless you want this next era to be scrapped just like BJ was because it flopped.

That depends... Are you going to bottom for me? anigif_enhanced-25745-1431062039-3.gif

WB's debut position is something because it didn't have any performance and its video got released almost 3 weeks after the song, all of which couldn't provide a longevity. So all the power was used in the first week.

But PG already has a confirmed live performance and its video will be premiered in the next few days, that means at least a possibility this song will have longevity. In this case the first week debut position is not that important.

Some comments here comparing WB with PG are really stupid. :4music:

i know her team cares but some people act like a #2 (#3, #7 or whatever) is bad im mean is almost like saying that the entire music industry is only 10 artist (those in top 10) and the rest are flops,

a lot of people expect new generations to like Britney like we did at the beginning of her career and repeat the success she had 13 years ago but unfortunately that is not going to happen

yes like i said before i would love to see her in #1 but if not that is not going to make me feel ashamed of being a fan, I'm a fan of hers because of Her (music, personality, charisma etc) not because of her popularity

just like i said baby enjoy her music if she gets that #1 good if not is not the end of her career

remember
