Am I the only one who doesn't hear some autotune, vocal effects, or backround singers in her entire career?She may have trained well but there was no way she could get that higher pitch down perfectly 100% of the time when she naturally has a deeper singing voice. We are gonna have to get over the "auto tune thing". Otherwise I respect your opinion if you simply just don't like it, but I completely disagree. I love the song

I don't like the song either, and I've had 2 other people drag my other fav for not liking it. Let's be real if this is "negative" then everyone needs to stop hating and making jokes about Britney Jean as well. If someone dislikes BJ that's okay, but if someone doesn't like PG it's not.

It's funny... reviews from professional critics have been very complimentary, especially her vocals on "Pretty Girls" with some saying they're the best they've been in a long while.  I agree, she sounds engaged and is having fun on the track whereas most fans online are quick to point out "autotune" (that word needs to be banned from the internet, tbh).  Not to say her vocals aren't treated, because they are, but it's a repetitive & tired stance to have against her.

This is the way I see it. Honestly I'm a Britnry Stan FOR LIFE, but Pretty Girls didn't blow me away. It's cute it's kinda catchy, but I personally don't think it lives up to Britney's past lead singles.. However just because it's not my favorite song doesn't mean I won't support it. I'm still hyped for new Britney music and I'm sure it'll grow on me with time. Also even if the song itself never slays me I'm almost 100% positive the video and the live performance will be enough to make me happy
